    I'm gonna keep it simple:

People spend money they don't have, to buy shit they don't need, to impress people they don't like.

Been reading all of these, and, having done that, have a few notions, though not theories I'd like to advance.

1: One's self-estimation and reality don't always co-incide. Most folks think they and theirs are especially valuable, kind, what have you, while everyone else are lazy, good-for-nothing sons-of-bitches who ought to be hanged instead of shot, so's to save money on ammunition.

2: It's always easier to call for the death of someone else, whether individually or en masse, if one's not the person who will actually either have to carry those deaths out, or be the unfortunate called on to die. Most folks who call for someone to be strung up never imagine themselves being in that position themselves. Maybe, they should, as the world would be much less bloody than it is.

3: Please remember that snobbery goes every which way up, down and sideways on the social ladder. Anyone can be resented or hated by anyone else at anytime for any reason in the book, and some outside of it. So, before laughing too hard at someone else, remember that the target of your laughter is undoubtedly laughing at you, too.

4: If you can't stand someone, OK. Either kill 'em or leave 'em be, and get on with your own life. If you MUST kill 'em, be prepared to take whatever punishment you will get with an absolute minimum of explanation of your motives, complaining or whining. Better still, leave 'em alone and get on with making your life, and the ones of those around you, the best they can possibly be. The rewards for that are, I believe, generally far greater than the former.

5: If, for whatever reason, you absolutely can't stand other people, at least leave 'em alone, and make what you can of your life with what you have on hand, while keeping your interactions with others as short and sweet as possible. Better to keep a polite distance from others, than to get into scrapes that will only keep you with unpleasant company for a long time.

6: Am gonna borrow a great Clint Eastwood line from towards the end of "Unforgiven", "Kid, we've all got it comin'," and we do. Some of us have got it comin' worse than others, but we all got it comin'. How, why and in what manner it comes all depends on how we act and treat others.

Sho' 'nuff, straight up, and no God-Damn Chaser.
