I would be MUCH more likely to accept a ride from a woman than a man.

I'm could easily become far more psycho than anyone who'd pick me up, if it came to it.

I have problem giving my friends rides...Strange no.... But here a 10.00 go away....
If it was someone I had a good feeling about, I might give some a lift. Talking with them for awhile yeah...Olix for some reason see you being a nice person, true nice person. I would give Olix or maybe Mr karl...

what I do, where do you need to go? Get you bus ticket, we both win...100.00 ticket or what ever it might be, it no real problem it helps out someone. I would rather do that have that warm fuzzy feeling.

I would even do that for Biker or anyone the on planet...

    Best answer yet.

One of the only times I ever hitchhiked was when I did it with a guy I was dating who I personally saw deliberately break another friend of ours' leg and then make him walk on it all night and who eventually went to jail for stabbing someone. I figured no one who picked us up was going to be more dangerous than he was. In retrospect, perhaps my 15 or 16-year-old self missed something else I should have been concerned about, but he was very good to me.

I can't believe women even attempt to deny that "chicks dig jerks".

See...nothing about our friends surprises me. I know a lot of the same that you and I share and really...you just have to shake your head.

There is a certain kind of jerk I used to like to treat with a two date minimum/three date maximum rule. Womanizing bastards always loved me.

There is a certain appeal to someone monstrous who is capable of terrible things but chooses to treat me well. Like Vaughn said, we do know some of the same people. But I consider it extremely adolescent to date anyone who treats you personally badly for any length of time and I'd learned that lesson by the time I was 15 or 16.

But the guy I mentioned actually did not fall into those parameters at all. He sometimes treated other people very badly, but he treated me very well, and he never treated women in general badly. I had been very popular at the school I attended the year before, but what makes you beloved one place makes you ostracized another and some people were really really really not nice to me. I was in a situation where having my gallant knight be a scary gun-running drug dealer was a real plus, but he in no way skimped on opening doors for me, being fun to go out on the town with, telling an entertaining story, not sexually pressuring me, all the things one would want from someone "nice" and my parents even liked him, despite knowing most everything about him. He was a good-looking gent, so, when I started dating him, one of my classmates, who fancied herself hot, pulled him into the bathroom at the bar we all frequented (Europe, we were more or less legal to drink) and she started running me down in front of a bunch of people and trying to explain that, if he were in high school, he would know not to date me and he just got all threatening and was like, "are you questioning my taste?"

When someone is true to you, whether or not you are present, whether or not you are adored by the people they are around at the time, that is having a good relationship, not digging jerks.

You know what I mean though - the ultimate fantasy is like, living with Jason Voorhees and being the ONE girl he doesn't kill

Obviously I do not know if this is an issue you personally run into, but, in my experience, a lot of guys who consider themselves nice do nothing to make a girl feel special. A guy who is all like "I'd treat any girl I dated like gold" does not make someone feel particularly special by treating her like gold. He can just come across as sort of desperately undiscerning, like it does not matter who the girl is at all. And the whole mechanism of falling in love is finding what makes someone else special to you. And, let's face it, it is kind of misogynist for a guy to claim to be nice and then attribute all sorts of negative qualities to women. Totally normal after a rough break-up but not generally alluring.

That said, I think chicks digging jerks and chicks fantasizing about being incredibly special to a serial killer are entirely different issues with almost nothing to do with one another. I mean, can you tell me what those two things have in common?
