I always loved the guy...probably from the hours spent watching him but more from the fact he was the kind of adult you wish more adults where like when you were a kid...he was always able to inform and make the most basic household things seem interesting.
The real genius of the show was that it accepted a fact many childrens shows do not...that many times the kids watching are usually all alone with little to no attention. As a result if you study the show closely you will see little of the show has to do with groups of people...it's always focused on the individual child doing things by himself be it through the activities presented or the strong focus of using ones imagination.
Brilliant show.
i always loved it when mr mc feeley came along and they went on a tour of a factory of some sort the one i remember the mos is when they went to a robot factory
