Its the internet, you are taking a big chance letting it out there and having a "relationship" with someone over a forum, its hard to read people sometimes and to know wether or not they are just killing time out of bordem, playing with someone elses feelings for the fun of it or if a person is geniune about their feelings.

You have to man up and get over it like any other "relationship" that ends, so shes not for you...move on to the next, but maybe its not such a good idea to look specifically for women on forums, try to go out and about in your hometown and find someone.

OEC- Yes it was a wonderful 18 years. Ive been thinking of getting a new kitten, but I feel like Im betraying Snowflake and I just dont think my heart is ready. I know Im going to look for a cat that is like she was, and I feel that Im going to be disappointed, and thats not fair to the new kitty;[ And now that Im crying Ill post a few pics of my baby.

This is her when she was 16. For some reason she grew a fascination with the water in the toilet and would sit and dip her paw in it. It was very odd, but I caught her when she wanted to rest, haha.

Jax - I know this is no consolation, but I had that very same emotion before getting my current cats. The whole OEC thing started when my late disabled cat passed away. He was blind in one eye. In time, you will be ready to help another little one have a good life.
