Thread: Spring Depression.

  1. #1

    Default Spring Depression.

    Do you feel it?

It's usually consisted of mild sleep problems, tiredness, bitchiness and craving for unusual sorts of food. It's natural because biological clock in our body recognizes spring coming and starts to wake up and crave more vitamins.

All you meed to do is to take in more vitamins and more motion.

I'm particularly sensitive to this so called Spring Depression. How does it work out for you guys? Do you feel it?

aw yes, the birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming, the sun is shining overhead, there's a gentle breeze caressing the air.

    I wanna kill myself.

Now that I'm in Florida, I really don't get to see a "Spring", but I used to love it myself. The smell of fresh cut new grass, a mix of warm and chilly wind all at the same time, everything being re-born. Spring used to always make me feel romantic, like love was in the air. Beats the doldrums of a US Northern winter any day.

I usually get depressed in early winter. I can't really recall feeling anything in spring though. Well next to an unnatural craving for starburst jelly beans but I figure that is more because those little bastards are delicious than any other reason.

I call it spring fever. I like spring, because it means winter is over and summer is on the way. all my favorite trees bloom in spring; my favorite of my favorites being dogwoods, followed closely by cherry trees..... daffodils are my favorite flower, and they are blooming now too. I really like spring a lot.

I really feel you on the depression though. I get it every year from late november to early december and it lasts about a month. it was really bad this year; so bad that I couldn't get out of bed or leave my house for 2 weeks. it was so bad, I called my mom. everyone at work was worried about me. I basically fell off the face of the earth. I didn't see or call anyone. the only people I talked to were J., and my parents. so yeah, I can relate to seasonal depression. its horrible. I'm going to combat this next year by going to either hawaii or guam.

I have been eating a lot lately. Craving all sorts of foods. Smoothies, salads, meats, cheesed, salty foods...now I have another reason why!

I smoke because I was traumatized having to watch "Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang" when I was a kid. It's also why I drink.

Put winter one aside. This is the spring one. And then the summer and autumn one

Never heard of that. When it's dark and cold out I get depressed, spring usually lifts my winter depression.
