    Default Abandoned Places

I hope this is relevant to post here...anyway I enjoy looking at this stuff...

Future is waiting for us. With hollow skeletons
or downsized ugly creatures with bulgy eyes - it's not important.
Important thing is that there will be a footprint left.
Footprint of civilization. Cement, metal and dust not claimed by anyone.

    They are eternity.

i used to do a lot of "UE" (urban exploration) when i was younger...

there's a rather large world wide network of people that's pretty damn secretive ...

i've tried to get back into it,but there's just not that much out here anymore....

    --------

it's usally quite dangerous, and gas mask are almost always a must in older buildings,tunnels,ect.....

i inhaled my fair share of asbestos in my day, becuse of my disregard for the logic...whatever you call it....

it's sad yes, but also exciting to some extent...for me anyways. i remember as a kid in elementary school sneaking down into the basement of the bldg and sifting through all the old storage areas. The school was built during Roosevelt's National Recovery Act of the 30's.... and you could tell these guys spared no time or energy in construction... everything impressively thick and sturdy .... seemed like it would stay there forever.

me and my girlfriend tried taking some pictures of the inside of an old abandoned house, we used candles for the nice dim lighting, we got into some more dirty things and the candles we thought we blew out burnt the house down,(with us in it we had to jump out second story window), 3 months probation (not bad at all) for breaking in, nothing for burning it down, took some classes, paid some fines, and now im prolly getting sued....good expirience tho

I just saw this show called Urban Explorers. They were exploring Chicago. It was pretty cool. They explored the Uptown theatre place, and the green mill bar for al capone's speakeasy. It was neat stuff.

I get paranoid in abandoned places, especially if someone lived there because of the whole "residual energy" thing.I'm pretty tuned into that shit. won't even go into cemeteries, have tryed but I just feel so very unwelcome there the most like I dont belong.

I feel that way around any area considered hallowed ground or things blessed for that matter. the woods dont bug me though. I've slept out in them with little more than a blanket. the dessert is another thing though cuz it's a place where things go to die.
