Games you like or dislike, and why ?**
I've been occasionally playing Halo 2. I need to rehook my XBoX Live to get the full effect though. Just have not had the time lately.
never played it, but supposedly Leisure Suit Larry is supposed to be awesome.
I really want to get Fable, but I dont have an XBox.*
I kinda hate the Larry series, but I never saw the appeal of cheesey bad taste either. I mean, I guess it could be odd that I thought Night and the Roxburry was funny, when I think Leisure Suit Larry blows. But, there it is.
Never played that game, so I wouldnt know. I only know from hearsay, or however that is spelled.**
Some games I would like to try are:
Fable
Dawn Of War
Prince Of Persia 2, or whatever that new version is.
Halo 2
and some other names I dont remember currently. **
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is a hell of a lot of fun if you're into strategy games. I also recently "aquired" Tribes: Vengeance and it is the best FPS I've played in quite a long time.
I have been playing World of Warcraft online. It's geeky, but really really fun.
I love the Warcraft series. I enjoyed the Starcraft stuff a lot too.
I was in the WoW beta and it was indeed awesome. I won't be getting the retail version though; I've never been fond of games you have to keep paying for. "Hey! Here's a deal! For the low, low price of giving us money, we'll let you keep giving us money! Hooray!"
im almost done with GTA San Andreas, About halfway through Halo 2 . other games im currently playing are Ace Combat 5 which is alot of fun, Katamari Damacy for its weirdness, Tales of Symphonia for gamecube, and Donkey Konga is a blast , Btw leisure suit larry is a horrible game i dont know who told you it was awesome but they seriously need a kick in the groin. In case you were wondering i dont know how i manage to play so many games but i do it anyways
What do you do in GTA? is it like the others?Originally Posted by KilLAtomiK

wll you can steal a car and take it to a garage and get it tricked out with nitrous hydraulics etc. this is by far the best game in the series so far plus it has three cities to explore and all the land in between them there is so much you can do in this game like sky diving, racing, dancing, and of course breaking the lawOriginally Posted by BrightStar

no you play as some guy named Carl JhonsonOriginally Posted by BrightStar
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines for PC! and Arcanum
im to busy being pissed of about GTA San Andreas not being on X-box
Lets see...currently..
World of Warcraft...insane amounts of fun.
Dawn of War...great fun also.
Half - Life 2...hands down the best FPS ever made.
Rome: Total War...the othe great strategy game of the year.
Farcry...been playing this off and on since it came out earlier this year. Worthwhile if you can run it at full detail.
Tribes: Vengeance...lots of fun and while I enjoy it the community seems divided on it...hopefully it does not die off.
Kingdom Under Fire: Crusaders...interesting mix of RTS and Hack N Slash on the xbox...very unique.
hahaha Over the summer I played "Freedom Fighters". Its a kick ass game!
I also play FFR... an online game. Its DDR for your fingers
Thing is...for $15 you are getting to actually play on servers that can handle massive ammounts of people playing at the same time, continuous updtates, etc.Originally Posted by TheWalkingGlitch

You COULD play games online on public servers...but that's a total waste of time in any game. I've played many MMORPG's and the fact is what you pay and what you get balance out.
You buy a standard RPG these days for $50 and you get if you'rre lucky 40 hours on average. Once you're done...that's it. You could replay it sure...but replaying a SP RPG has limited fun in the long run at best...unless it has multiple endings.
MMORPG's however...you constantly play and see new things with characters that grow as the game grows...and with WoW giving you insane amounts of characters per server you could play EVERY class in the game to higher levels in multiple ways and versions. So for $15 a month it's a steal...I was the same way thinking it was a rip off till I started to play regularly...it's very hard for me to play SP RPG's now cause of it.
It's awful...lame as all hell...even the unrated adult version.Originally Posted by BrightStar
I remember when original Leisure Suit Larry series came out for the C-64... and why they would dig it up for a new one is beyond me, but leave it to Sierra to do it. I can't imagine that it would be of any excitment for anyone over 14 (just as the original series was).
As far as games I've been playing lately have been:
Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King (PC)
some older PC games as well:
Earth 2150: Escape From The Blue Planet
State Of Emergency
Need For Speed: Porsche 2000
Project IGI
Cossacks: European Wars
some classics:
Dune 2000
Total Annihilation
Total Annihilation: Kingdoms
Rune
Thief: The Dark Project
Unreal Tournament
and a bunch of downloaded web games:
Alchemy Deluxe
BookWorm Deluxe
Dynomite Deluxe
Hexic Deluxe
Hoyle Card Games
Jewel Quest
Tetris 4000
Time killers... loads of fun.
A few questionable choices (TA:K ...oh how that game pissed many off) but Cossacks is great...an anthology of all 3 games in the series hit shelves a few months back...worthwhile for any new to the series. Theif is a must play to this day...LoTR: RotK is hit and miss depending on how much you like the genre. Some found it overly difficult to the point of sadism others just foundi t shallow...but at the bargin bin price now...great game to kill some time with (and any feeling in your fingers)

Kingdoms is bunk, but it came with the expansion pack and for $5 can't bitch... it's a grin to play for 20 minutes.
I'm into the FPS
Favs are
Rainbow Six 3
Unreal tournament 2004, Farcry, Ghost Recon, Aliens VS Predator 2,
I also like (MY ALL TIME FAV) MECHWARRIOR SERIES
The RPG side of the gameworld would have to be Neverwinter Nights
I got re-hooked on Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, someone stop me before my arm falls off.
Front Mission 4........... now that I have the time to play it.
what is the adult version like?Originally Posted by Tequila Zaire

Anybody remember Ultima Online? That game would be awesome if you didnt have to pay to play that.
Checked out the Leisure suit Larry trailer, and the game seems kind of stupid, as far as game play, it seems like an Adult Mario Party.
Metal Gear Solid is also good, but for some reason, most people dont like Raiden, though I have no opinion on him yet. *
Raiden just comes off as really, really whiny to me. I'm not fond of whiny protagonists in video games. Hence why I also refuse to play FFX-2... Tidus seemed to me to be an experiment to see just how whiny a protagonist Square could make, and I have to say I was happy when he bought the farm. A game centered around bringing the dipshit back is not my idea of fun, nonexistant costumes or not.Originally Posted by BrightStar
Games? Well, I normally play Nexus:Kingdom of the winds alot...its a online MMORPG and I got hooked.
I also like Fable...it is a good game...as well as Grand Theft Auto Vice City/San Andres, mainly for the mass murder.
Im also a fan of Star Ocean Second Story.

I want to try Fable a LOT!**
i only play one game

Well if you didn't pay to play these games they would not be all that awesome and rather generic...fee's pay for continuous support...server and in game.Originally Posted by BrightStar
Too many don't seem to understand that.
Raiden was a walkin, talkin, Japanese cliche...a pretty boy ninja. Japanese games are FILLED with very female like males being as whiney as their target audience wishes them to be. It was a blatent attempt to boost the MGS popularity in japan...failed thankfully. Many don't seem to know that MGS is not all that popular in Japan...not like it is here in North America or Europe.Originally Posted by BrightStar
Well, I wouldnt mind a single player version of Ultima Online, where you go wherever, do whatever, etc.*Originally Posted by Tequila Zaire
