I'm starting to really get tired of mine. Which is scary, since it is my career (I make an O.K. living at it) and I've been doing it for like 17 or 18 years. I have NO experience in doing ANYTHING else!

the biz isn't what it used to be. and the economy sucks Balls right now for dancing. so i'm just chilling with my puter and the characters in my head trying to get this story written. It's kinda nice to have gotten the upgrades post pron, now i'm not so recognisable.

I love my job but it is not really a job. I'm a photographer shooting everything from fetish to s/m events to model portfolios and also work part time authoring DVD's for a Japanese indy porn company.

No matter what I shoot/author/shoot video of, it is something I love to do so it's all play for me plus I make money doing what I like to do and work most of the time at home.

No worries with you though. If you keep putting it back in the business, sooner or later, they'll be no more reason to have to put all your profits back into the business and then it'll all be going back into your pocket. Yes. Well, I love my work more than I love my job. I don't always love the obligation of having to go to work, but I enjoy the work itself and the people I work with are mostly my friends. A good portion of our work is contract set/prop/deccor that we get to do in our own studio, or it's theater tech/event production that's more like a team sport. The hours are by the gig, so every month is different. It gives us lot's of time at home and in the shop too.

My job is SO stressful, celebrity divorce! Actually, the clients are really nice, it is the STAFF that has the attitude... Thank god the mean assistant just quit! It is interesting, I mean, you get caught up in all the drama, and it never ends, but they have me doing everything, calling judges, attorneys, clients... I might as well just try the cases myself in court! I am permanently in stress mode. Oh, and the hours are 8:20 to 5:30, no breaks, hardly any lunch. It's kind of like The Devil Wears Prada, except no fashion shows!!!!

Groovey. But do you live in a place where you can you get around fast enough to make your time worth not having to pay for those things? The way it works out for us is that, considering the whole time is money thing, we would pay more for our time getting around town for work or play than we do paying for a car and gas. If we do the math based on an average of $20/hr, we spend more not having a car.
But on the other hand, if time is money, why do I always seem to have more of one than the other?
