Would you rather be excited by the things happening to you but possibly uncomfortable or upset sometimes or comfortable with the world around you but possibly bored sometimes?

...................... the first one, life is all about experiences.
I imagine being comfortable all the time would be terribly boring. I suppose the ideal mixture of both would be best, but life isn't like that. lol I defintely prefer excitement and adventure even if it means sacrificing safety and stability.
I agree - life is all about experiences.
i would also prefer an exiting life and i agree with missbunny that a comfortable life would be borring i like when shit just happens and you dont know how to deal with it but you somehow find a way
id take the excitement over boredom..even if it could lead to death....thats why im a volunteer firefighter..yeeehaw
I would have to say that excitement for me is worth the discomfort. Any ways I think it would be more discomforting being bored.
Good point. I think we learn our most important lessons from our worst experiences. That's how you grow as a person. (sorry if that sounds cheesey)

Adventure!!!!!!!!!!
excitement all the way.
I've seriously risked my life on more than one occasion in pursuit of excitement.
thank fuck i didn't fall though
I was pretty reckless when I was younger. I think excitement can come over more sublime things tho also. You might just be excited about a project you are working on etc. It is important to role the dice tho. What we call "stress" is really the spice of life. It makes you aspire to do more/ be more.
OEC
Too much security leads to routinized comfort, which leads to complaceny, which leads to stagnation.
Too much stimulation leads to a lack of focus, which leads to a lack of discipline, which leads to dissolution.
Like almost everything else, it's best to strike a healthy balance.
That being said, if I had to pick one extreme or the other, I'd choose excitement.
I think it kinda depends on the person's responsibility. If you have nothing really depending on you...hell may as well live to have fun and explore around you...but if say you have a kid...well then you need to be smart about getting yourself into a situation that could do you serious harm. Can't say I've ever agreed with parents doing insanely dangerous acts for their own adrenaline needs when it could put their kids at risk of living without a parent. It's not all that rare either.
No one wants a boring life but our responsibilities have a value and importance as well.
Thankfully I have no real responsibilites at the moment so who wants to go sky diving into a pool of sharks?!!!
me and oh please make sure the freaking sharks have freakin lazers attached to thier freakin heads...awww how freakin cute
If it was like D&D, then the Exciting adventures.
If not, then the peaceful stability. **
I apologize, but huh?
