I used to smoke Marleboro. I switched to Basic lights about 5 years ago. Last year I went down to ultra-lights. I'm in the process of quiting now. I won't use Welbutrin because of side effects. I tried the patches but was allergic to the adhesive (they'd leave huge red whelps on me for like 4 days) and I don't chew gum. I tried cold-turkey but I get sooooo irritable I'm afraid I'll rip someone's head off. So January 1 I started reducing the amount I smoke 1 cig a day for the whole week - 1st week 19/day, 2nd week 18/day, etc - and drinking 4 oz of water instead. So in 20 weeks I won't be smoking any and drinking 80 oz of water per day.

I have. And I dont get it. Your inhaling something that is burning. Your putting smoke into your mouth, throat and lungs, and on purpouse!
Now I understand that nicotine is very pleasureable to some people, and that it actually has benifits to some mental states. But the act of smoking in itself...I just dont understand at all.

I love to smoke, although now all I can handle is extra light's, my favorite smokes are silk cut's axcept it's been a long time since I had a pack of those, I love the way smoke feels when it hit's my chest, sometime when I want a good wallop I get out my pipe, I dont like the smoking ban in bars, I dont want to smell the people, I dont get paid by the hour so if I didn't smoke I wouldn't take a break for 10 hours straight, when I run out I(which almost never happens) I roll up my butts, which is sort of like refined smokes, I like going to the german emabassy cause it's the only place in the city your allowed to smoke indoors

Personally I think anyone who wants to smoke should be able to, even marijuana, but NO one should be allowed to be able to do in public. Ever.

I think Business owners should have the right to decide if their establishments are Smoke-Free or Blaze-Up zones and then as a consumer we can decide to continue to be customers there or not.

That's my personaly opinions on "Smoker's Rights", any privately owned place should be left to discretion of the owner whether it be a business or home. Non-smokers would have to accept places that allow smoking before going in and Smoker would ahve to get over themselves and not smoke in non-smoking establishments and all public places.
