Looks pretty good so far. Hows that cover-up going to work? I've never seen a traditional style tattoo as a cover-up before.
Yeah, its gonna be weird to cover up some of it, but Im a weirdo and like the spots in the middle of the brass knuckles, haha.
Looks cool. I too will be interested to see how it turns out with the spots behind it. But I think you're right, being able to see the continuation of the spots through the open spaces should give it added personality.
Tattoos, Spots and Sarcasm I love it !!
Jax, I absolutely love love LOVE this tattoo! I can't wait to see the progress pics! I think the spots behind it don't look too bad at all, actually.
Bad Ass
Looks great! Is it going to be full color or just shaded?
mG
The only color I have on my whole body is my back;] Everything from here will all be black and grey work, no color at all.
Thanks guys, I just had to share since I havent been too chatty lately;] Razorblades, revolvers and brass knuckles...cant go wrong;p
Looks great so far, keep us posted.
wow, i really like that design and i think it's cool you're sticking to black and grey.... i just got my tats colored in today, which means i can start planning my next piece.... mwahahaha
I don't get it.
Irony. Love Thy Neighbor and the piece is about violence. Brass knuckles, a revolver and a razor blade. And the rose makes it pretty.Originally Posted by Morning Glory

I've been hanging out with BF Skinner for too long. I have to ask... ah, yes, but what does it all mean?...
hi looks cool i would like a tatoo cant decide what to have though LOL MIKE
i think you couldn't get any sexier than just having the spots
its your body and the artist did a good job
but unfortunatly it seems that tatoos are a bit of an addiction (or maybe people with tatoos have an adictive personality)
but too many tatoos end up looking like a bit of messy collage
especailly if they do not follow one theme
i personally love the organic looking tatoos like the spots stripes or the tribal stuff
your body is a work of art but unfortunatly to me it is getting a few too many bills posted on it like an abandoned wherehouse full of playbills
of course i'm just objectifiying you like a building or a car
and i understand the need for change (things get old and boring)
and these are just the opinions of useless idiot
i guess we got to get you in some skintight latex to truly appreciate your perfect body shape
like i said before the spots all over are so exotic the otehr stuff is getting into biker/rock star terror-tory
i apologize for being brutaly honest and you i know you arent getting tattos for us
but you are a super hot beautiful woman
and i will be a yesman to no one
Bohoki, thank you for you opinion and saying it in a constructive manner;]
Jax- Nice tat.
Bohoki- you sain' dere's sumpin rang wid biker tats? /joke
gee after thinking about what i wrote maybe i was a bit harsh
just to me less is more but the road you are on is leading to the full body coverage ,if that is what you want that is totally fine
but it distracts from your true perfect shape to me it is a bit like what steven speilburg did to ET or lucas and the starwars modifications sure they were improvements but you know how it effected the fans
and with makeup you can look any way you want so the permanence of tattoos is irrelevant
i've only seen a couple pics of you in a little plaid outfit
and those spots are just awesome they look so natural(being soft in color shade)
so i was thinking if they were "natural"a leopard girl is entitled to get a few tats
so its kind of neat being layers
girl,cheetah girl,cheetah girl with tatoos
i hope i am not spoiling any riddle of jax puzzle
so anyway ignore what i said before it looks neat
what are you covering up?
did you get the neck stripes filled ?
thats cool,.. i have a "love thy nieghbor belt buckle i heart very much.
Bohoki- Im not getting anything covered up actually. My spots were hard for me to tat over, but I try and put my tats where they flow with my body style and in order for my sleeve to look right to me, it just had to happen that way;]
Nope, Im afraid of putting that needle on my neck, lol. It freaking HURT! When I decide to finish up the stripes on my neck, I plan on getting more smaller stripes up onto my throat, so Im saving it for when Im really in the mood for pain, lol.
I WANT the whole collage thingOriginally Posted by bohoki

so far i have white trash tatts, 30's ink illistrations and tin tin comic pics. not to mention my kitty
I Like this weird, ecclectic spattering of pictures all over my trunk but htats just me, i can see why someone else wouldnt like it
that said, I got my first face peircing today
yay
ive always been to chicken, but yeah, got my bottom lip peirced int eh middle so its all nice and symmetrical when i get the middle of my nose done
peircing scres that shite out of me
awww that sounds hott eva... i cant wait till another couple paychecks (gonna pay off my cell phone first, and a couple other things) im gonna get 2 rings on the left side of my lip. yummy
I wish I could afford another tattoo.
yeah, I cant wait to get my next ones
i need to design them first tho
pericings are cheaper
eh he he, im TWENTY FUCKING TWO and I am just doing all thise shite now cos i have moved out o home and im too scared of my parents dissapointment to have done it at home
ehhhh he he he, i need balls
Btw Jax, I love your new tattoo, sailorific in a great way
I want one of those old sailor hearts with a ribbon saying "mother"
very nice ink...im getting new ink on wednesday of bettie page in a nurse outfit...mm bettie
mmmmmmmm Bettie indeed <3
I think your tattoo looks great. Nice work. Can't wait to see it done
Sailor Jerry... Can't miss! Hope it turns out good for ya...
I like it but it doesn't look finished bud!
Of course its not finished which is why I said its the starting piece and offered updates when its coming along...
just wondering when you got he spots done ? they look so light were they darker when they were new?
have you tried coloring the stripe in with a marker just to see how it looks and maybe draw in the others to see if you like them?
it would be cool if you could get the black bands around your ankles to match your wrists(but solid coloring takes a a lot of time and time in the chair = pain)
i personally have a policy against words in tatoos (chines characters included) so people of any language can enjoy them and i got a funny story about the chinese characters
a friend liked a symbol and had it tatooed on then he found out it just was the symbol for mosquito(of course its fitting he is a pest)
i have "crocodile" in arabic on my back, really tiny, but im so paranoid it says something different
Haha, yer screwed http://www.soufoaklin.com/tattooartist.htmlOriginally Posted by Eva:Gina

but these guys had a big book full of arabic words
eh
who cares anyways, no one sees my back adn i dont know anyone who reads arabic anways
Yes, I had the spots washed out a little so they werent so dark. They are still the same shade as when I had them done;]Originally Posted by bohoki
Nope havent done that on my neck. I know Ill like them and when I see my artist the stencil is all I need to know if itll look ok or not (look ok to me anyways). I was actually gonna do my ankle bands, but my legs are last on my list since I dont really show them;p
This is the first tattoo that Ive had words in, but I love it because it just wouldnt be the same without words.
yeah, that's why I'd get an impartial third party to do the text, preferably one that there would be no point in fucking it up, as in not a tattoo, like a sign on a building or something, and then take that design to your artist, instead of trusting them to pick it out for you. sad to say unless you are asain, in which case you might allready even know the language, there's a lot of people getting asain characters that are really not that respectible, and I wouldn't trust myself to not think it was funny if they got something stupid.
My last ink included Gaelic text and I had it verified by three different sources before I took it to my artist.
given the nature of typical arabic culture, it doesn't seem to me that someone who was well scribed in the language would want to see it used to say something obscene or joking. It's a pretty difficult alphabet to master ,especially in artistic calligraphy form, so I'd imagine that one wouldn't excersize a lack of care, but that's just my assumption. mocking the language is probably a far more greivous insult then mocking a person for not understanding it.
