This is one reason I should never be a parent. That was the funniest thing I've seen today.
That is fucking badass!
hahahahaha.

stupid yokel fat boy
WOw... and I thought it was funny when I scared the hiccoughs out of the children..
It is always better to be slow and maniacal that to loud and fast
so mean...I feel sorry for him lol...poor kid, he was so sad.....
maybe that why I am a parent lol I guess Im the only one here with a soul...
Is anybody here gonna hate me when I say we did this but with that crazy car commercial?
Bah! It's not harmful to scare a kid like that. They aren't that fragile.
Kid was such a drama queen. Get over it ya brat, it wasn't that scary.
I thought it was pretty damned funny. Not to mention I have done worse to my kids (all in good fun).
What can "harm" a person varies a lot. Upbringing varies dramatically from situation to situation. I don't think we should assume that the kid was overreacting -- it looked like legitimate fear and upset to me. Whether it will be a long-term problem is determined in part by how the adults in his life comfort him. The fact that they continued to film him crying kinda doesn't give me a lot of hope, but....Originally Posted by inox
I cried a lot as a kid, and scared kinda easy. People often gave me shit about it or told me it "wasn't a big deal." This didn't help.
I'm overly sensitive to this kind of thing because of my childhood experience, so don't necessarily take it as typical. But some kids just are a little more fragile/a little more emotional, and I guess I wish we could be a little more sympathetic to them and cut them a little slack when they need it.
Edit: plus, I have a son, and I've heard him cry just like that, so it made it kinda hard to watch. He probably wouldn't have gotten so freaked out by this, though -- he's a tough kid.
that was fun we should do it again. but we have to wait because they exspect it now. i think doing crap like that makes them stronger.Originally Posted by Jasperino
