Funny, that's exactly what I was going to post. I sometimes find things other people find disturbing beautiful. I was walking to the bank one day and saw a dead flattened hummingbird on the sidewalk. No gore, just a perfectly flattened bird. You would to have had to see it to understand, but it was very beautiful. It made me stop and think how fragile and beautiful life can be.

I think beauty in people is an accumulation of the things that make them different from me. I think there's something beautiful about everyone if you have the eyes to see it. Whether it's an outward thing or not.

It is said, "Beauty is only skin deep" But I do not agree with that. My belief is that true beauty is from the soul of a person. True, Outward beauty is pleasing to see, but if that person has a rotted soul, and the personality of a horses ass, it is only outward. But I find a person with the beautiful soul more along the lines of relationship quality. Who wants a "Trophy" for a mate rather than someone to be intellectual and spiritual with?

A beautiful person to me: Is a person who is honest about themselves and what they truly want in life and from me. Someone who lives in the moment, isn't afraid to ponder the past but sees their future as well. Definitely an animal lover. A risk taker. I judge a person on internal moreso than external. I have to be able to laugh with a person.

I know what you mean, there are times it's futile to try to describe something that just happens such as love or what's beautiful to you at any given time.

Just because it looks good does not make the person or object beautiful. I've thought of this over the yrs, maybe to long, and I think what is beautiful is instinctual in every person in how the appreciate another.

It is a mix of brain, past likes and desires, and a gut feeling. Something you get for no reason & understanding.

I think cultural perceptions also play a small part. That bit that binds the gut feeling & brain together to make each thought of & way of looking at something or one together.

i would say it's true that dead creatures are often taken back into the food chain by swarms of wet maggots, but i don't know if the process could be considered beautiful. even if it is true.

clear consistant unblemished skin free of hair and a youthful appearance low wrinkle count

tatoos are alright i just hate ones that look bluegreen they look so dirty

anal bleaching and lots of waxing
as to internal beauty i think that is using the term beauty the wrong way

a person can be pleasant nice loving careing deep insightful witty

oh yea a nice voice thats not whiney and nasaly

but a beautiful mind is just a bunch of PC nonsense
