I am not a big fan of facial hair. While it may be "stimulating" for some to feel the barbed whiskers against a face cheek (or ass cheek for that matter), I hate that! I love a soft, smooth face on a man.

I've never been overly fond of whiskers on anything but kittens. I don't mind that my dad has a beard, it suits him and keeps him from getting carded. That and I can admire my grey streak from across the room. I've never been fond of moustaches or sideburns either. I like that baby faced look I guess.

Depends a lot on the guy. I just told my friend Mark an hour ago not to shave his beard, because it suits him. Most guys look stupid with facial hair, though. It's usually not very well-kept and kinda scraggly. Men should only grow facial hair if they plan on keeping it neat.

I say it depends on wether or not you want people to kiss you. I am thinking of either growing a van dyke or soul-patch type thingie, or a venerable elder-kung-fu master type chin thing. Think every old man in a Bruce Lee movie. However, unless you're an old school (and actually attended the old school) biker or a walrus, don't wear the walrus whiskers. And just say no to the molester-stache.

I think a lot of it's about masculinity. A lot of girls seem to prefer androgynous men, largely I suspect because they appear less threatening and more familiar. Leonarda di Caprio's made a lucrative career out of looking suspiciously like the female lead.

Olix that is one thing swedish should be slaughtered, no just kidding. But I can say it's not nice to wake up in the middle of night when some drunken people are singing "Touch my tralala..." at the street.

Oh and then back to subject. I prefer shaved thought I don't have much to shave because my genes, I quess all the body hair has gone to my hair hair ( it gets a bit confusing ). But if I would grow a facial hair I would grow a real viking beard

my goatee is part of my nature it sounds superficial but i don't like the way i look without it SO MUCH that if i shave it all off i am a different person... were normally i can be very extroverted and outspoken and fun shaved i am shy and unconfident and rather quiet. i usually shave off the goatee a 1-2 times a year (if that) just to start over and/or show someone special what i look like with out my goatee

luckily though it only takes about three days for me to grow enough of it back to be comfortable.
