Does anyone have a good picture of Scar13's bat tattoo that goes across her shoulders? Because I cant find a decent picture of it.

There's this site you could get a very inexpensive membership in which has thousands of pictures of her from every angle. What do you need a picture of specifically her tattoo for?
a couple of her sets have some decent pics of it, id post links but idk if id be allowed to do so.
Spookycash has this set but if you're looking to copy it you'd better follow Amelia's link for better resolution images. Tattoos look kinda cheap when your artist includes the pixelations, and membership is nothing compared to the cost of Scar's ink.
Or, you could do what the rest of us do and put a fruit bat in a trouser press.

DAMN! and i've spent all this time searching for good illustrations of bats on the internet...Originally Posted by Mindgames

May the powers that be, Please, please ask Razor Pixie to model!
especially before she gets copytats.
Razor Pixie,
I took a look at the tat your asking about, and no offense to Scar 13 but its your basic realism, but the quality isn't that great. Either, the tatoo artist wasn't A#1 or her skin type isn't the best for "high resolution". What I'm saying is it might be good to have a picture of it to show to an artist and say I want something like this, but don't copy it. And lastly, body parts are like frames, while that bat rides well enough on her shoulders, I don't think it would do so well on your lower back.
If you want I can refer you to my tattoo artist. He moved to Florida though. But if/when I get more tattoos I am definately flying out there to see him, as he is the best best ever. I think it's worth the price of flying!!
don't you have to be 18 for that?Originally Posted by Jebadiah
yes, must be 18 for tattoos and nude modeling :-)
I would of responded to this earlier, but I've been recovering from the smack up side the head I gave myself. Scar I'm sorry. If someone posted, what I said, about my tattoos, I wouldn't be happy about it either.
The piont, I was trying to convey was don't copy. When I was doing tatoos, 90% of my work was created for one person and never used again. So copying art is a real pet peave of mine. And I was just trying to put it as nicely as I could to Razored Pixie, and ironically I insulted you and your tatoo artist in the process. Theres no excuse for it, It was a stupid new guy thing to do, and so once again
I'm sorry.
I don't know. all my tatoos are "copied". I guess that makes me a lame loser, but when a see some cool art I say that would make a cool tatoo... or else I get a tatoo that someones has as a tribute to that person, or in the case of one I want to get, it's a tatoo that someone I know has that's based on art from someone that I admire and really respect.
I think it's best to draw your own, use orginal art and make it in ink, get an artist to draw it, use someone elses tatoo design that you like, and lastly to pick it out off a flash wall. In that order.
Hey, I deserve what I get for this.
The way I did biz, was my way,
But I do understand that was, and is not the norm.
Perhapes one of my Fav tattooists would have to be Paul Booth.
well since I am in NY, and have 4 months to find a good tattoo artist. Could someone help with that?
YESSS!!! creepy motherfucker, i love him!! have you seen the artfusion stuff he started?? *drooooool* gives me orgasms.Perhapes one of my Fav tattooists would have to be Paul Booth.
I don't know anyone in NY.....
And Jebadiah, I took/ take no offense!
(Wiping sweat from my brow), thanks Scar! I like this community, but I thought after this, I would hafta lay low for a while, I guess not. But for better or worse, I think I'll monitor the words that come out of my fingers more closely.
Razored Pixie, Pick up some Tattoo magazines, New York and New Jersey Has always had thier fair share of tattoo artists, and the mag covers your area quite well. If your looking for a design, go and visit a few shops, and ask to see thier art, it'll be obvious if thier artists or technicians (both can do good tatoos, but only the artist can do design work). It seems you want realism, so you also can check out the encyclopedia, to nature mags, to find good photos of bats. But if you go this route, once again pick a tattoo artist not a tattooist becuase of course there will be some translation from the picture to your skin. In the end pick the one that most impresses you, and someone you like, tattoos can be addictive, and you might be seeing alot of him/her.
One last thing, I assume that in NYC tatoo biz is still underground, because of blue laws, is that still true?
