Rats!
Hairy Japanese............... Bastards!!!!
We stored a new printer in the shed until we got around to re-arranging our room, when we brought it in and opened it, we found these little guys. They died though.
The moment you disturbed them, they were doomed. Once they have the scent of a human or other animal on them, the mother will abandon them.
At that age they needed their mother's warmth and milk.
In the other pics you can see the milk thru their transparent skin.
Y'all dont mind me sharing these do ya?
Not at all!!! KEEP THEM COMING, THEY ROCK.
Thank YOU so much!!!
All these pics look best in their full size.
I dont know what kind of bug laid these kinds of eggs, but they're totally fascinating to me. They're delicately set upon a hair, and in that spiral pattern!!! On screen!
If there are any that you like in particular lemme know. These are possibly for sale if interested... I'm not trying to target an audience. its just an FYI.
Appalachian Mountains awakening to spring
It was the first time I visited the grave of my best friend who died Feb 03. She was 28 and died of a heart attack. Since I'd gotten back from Florida, I kept putting off going because I didnt want to stir up the pain. HOWEVER, when I did, there was the most gorgeous sunset that night. I could feel her both near and far from me at the same time... and somehow comforted, I'm glad I got to capture the shot.
The Ky Appalachian mountains can have the 'smoky mountain' appearance too.
I like to focus on Abstract Textures

One of my favourite symbols is the Tree of Life..... this reminds me of that. Maybe you were meant to be there at that moment to witness it.........maybe it was her way of telling you through nature that you'll be together again. All our roots are deep.....we just never really know how high we'll go or in which direction our souls will travel. I'm so happy that you had the opportunity to capture it.... the telling moments in life are so very rare. This was one of those moments.....

Thank you so much for that lovely sentiment.... I believe exactly as you said.
It really felt that way,
We had such a connection while she was alive....
Most ppl think I'm lying when I say this because it sounds SO out there....
BUT I saw this thing in a tree the day she died, it glimmered like a diamond... I had no idea what it was, I walked in the house and a mutual friend called me to tell me that she'd passed on.
I never saw that glimmer in that tree again... but I did a yr later. I tried to take pics, but I'll have to do some resizing, and scale representations.
I appreciate your interest.
