Would you like the number of our tattoo shop, so you can inform them of that? I'm sure they'd love your expert opinion.

yeah, I'll get right on making that long distance call to norway, or wherever the fuck you live across the Atlantic ocean.
I really couldn't care less what they do, I'm not the one that is going to be getting half assed work by them.
You just spent three posts criticising what they do.
Anyway, we've been there three times before and never had a problem with the foil, so your opinion is kinda beside the point.
well they both like(d) to undermine everything that I say. but hey, it keeps me humble.
I'm not digging your mines, just bringing in a flashlight. [/pretentious Intellectual crap]
Aaaaanyway, it took a while, but here's a pic of how it turned out. It was taken immediately after, I'm just posting it now 'cause I'm flaky like that.
I suppose this thread's gotta be tossen in erotica now, but eh. The pics with her tits just out of view didn't look half as good, somehow.
Wow that turned out really nice I love how big it is and it fits in so well with her others !
does she have some sort of robotic leg?
That's a flattering interpretation of a fairly typical pvc goth boot. Her lower leg looked empty, and we were too lazy to put the other one on too.
Nice - going to do the mirror image on the right side now?
that wasn't a diss. that boot is cool. it reminds me of hellraiser.
hell raza. you should totally dress up as pinhead for Easter.
Nah, I don't much like symmetry, and getting the same thing done a second time wouldn't be interesting enough to warrant the price anyway.Originally Posted by DJ Bat
Future plans include a skeletal shape for her right arm (to offset her left leg), and possibly a tribal winding thorny vine for either her left arm or right leg. Possibly both, if we come up with enough internal variety to warrant it.
For the moment though, we're focusing on making her an outfit or two that allow her to show this one off and still remain minimally and interestingly clothed.
And I meant it when I called it flattering, a robot leg is far cooler than a boot.Originally Posted by Morning Glory
I don't really do 'dressing up as', but the costumes from the Hellraiser movies are awesome, and themes of demonic (auto)sadomasochism are a likely enough candidate for a future look we do in their own right .
Ahh.. well ya have symmetry on the back and chest - thought you would roll with it - but regardless, I'm sure whatever is next will be just as stunning - your work is great.
Thanks. =D
And true on the other pieces, but they're on central locations; somehow that registers differently to my sense of aesthetic.
Those are really nice designs.
Very similar to my own...

i especially like how the spines that wrap around on her hip/butt look like they could be the strapping from a piece of clothing. for some reason, i have visualized the image as going on her other hip/upper leg - with the spines pointing in towards her navel region. i have no idea why, i just did.

All of mine are sort of a skeletal/biomechanical/tribal combo.
All my own random doodles...
I likes em. even though thier not my type of thing i likes them

That's you? Kickass outfit. I looked at that one for a while when I was browsing that gallery.Originally Posted by TheDeathKnight
Also yes, that's a sweet tattoo and it does look like our stuff more than anything else I've come across. More mechanical, but it's obvious some common tastes and insights went into drawing them.
Yeah, maybe I will dig up some other tattoo pics tonight when I get home from work, and see if I can post them... My back tattoo is actually very similar to hers...
Aaaand I finally got around to this. I've had concept sketches lying around for ages, but not being much of an illustrator the process of redrawing and adjusting them on paper was rather tiresome, and I could never get over the disconnect of using a tablet.
Turns out that two and a half years of photoshop masking experience have since left me reasonably capable of drawing by mouse. Who needs pencils?
The artwork for her skeleton arm is finished, adjusted to size and printed. We're heading for the tattoo shop this friday.
Funny you should mention that. I've done a scarification or two, dressed as a pirate, while on ecstasy. I'll concede that the latter does not facilitate accuracy in fine detail.

while i wasnt on that drug, i have done a few things i prolly shouldnt have while on lsd. the bloodletting was a definate no no; got a horrible scar on my inner wrist from that. it looks like something you would get from surgery, of the non-endoscopic sort. i will admit though, that getting my nostril pierced, as well as both traguses, was quite a unique experience. and a very memorable sensation. one which i did not register as pain, in the slightest. i was supposed to get a tattoo as well that day, but as we running short on time, i had to make do with the piercings rather than waiting in line at the tattoo shop.
But bloodletting on lsd is fun. I would probably have stayed away from inner wrists, but I'm sure at least 95% of even that tissue is non-essential. =P
Pain is interesting while you're tripping. Dealing with shopkeepers and waiting in line is not, though.
yeah, part of why i had posted about it was that i felt that while the subject was taboo for a good many, some of those here - such as you, Raza - could either appeciate it or understand it. you seem 'open' to such things. of course, i cant say the same thing about the person who worked on me, or any of the other folks in the studio i went to. hell, i couldnt even let the pople i was with know at the time(the roup i was with included an off-duty military police officer, of all things. i almost spilled the beans to the piercing, to give him some sort of explanation of why my bodily processes were not acting as expected. he was at a total loss as to why i was not bleeding during the insertion of the needle and the change to the jewelry, except for a moment or two when he moved the metal in my flesh. i was too fascinated by this behavior to really comment realistically.
the bloodletting on my wrist behaved in a semi-similar way. the main issue there was that the wound was left spread wide open for too long. it really could have used some sort of stitches or sutures. the skin was tight enough around the wrist that it had essentially pulled back. it was left on its own to heal; again, it should have gotten some attention so that it would have left a less nasty-looking scar after it healed. i have often considered doing something, such as scarification or a tattoo near that area, to make it look better aesthetically.
oh yeah, have fun at the tattoo shop this friday, both of you!
I'll admit I'm usually not into tribal style anything, but your designs are really gorgeous, and interesting.
