groovy! you should do an animated onf you wearing all your belt colors . that'd be well...nifty. lol
If I can I will xD
nifty
At the moment I only have 3 my White, Yellow and Orange, but my sensei said if I can speed up my Kata then he'll send my for my green belt grading
well i'd recommend work at your own pace on the katas. you wouldnt wanna rush things just to get a belt and end up skipping a step or spraining something yaknow?
No I know the ones hes taking about perfectly but im in the habit of doing a step pausing then the next step, etc so Im not doing it in the proper timing
i can dig it. besides it would kinda suck if you had to actually use those skills you're learning in ana ctual fight and you pause between steps.
Well the other half of Kata is Bunkai which is putting the self defense moves into it, but each Kata has its own timing and nuances which you have to do other wise its wrong, and the guy in charge of the gradings is getting really picky about it.
well good luck on it.
yea, in my 1st tournament I didnt have the money to enter the sparring event and I was watching people who had their Orange belts (this is just after I got my Yellow) and they would throw one punch then step away. No-One even threw a kick
Or you meet someone at a wedding, hit it off, then when you see them the other day and you're no longer dressed up the uptight snob in them comes out.Originally Posted by Amelia G
I don't know; I think a good romance consists of moments, and sharing the appreciations you have in common. Lacking empathy for a lover's characteristics when you cannot yourself identify with them is quite natural and does not preclude worthwhile interaction on other counts.Originally Posted by Amelia G
