it was weird, i went there this morning to grab a flyer of all the job opps there and went and took a walk around and was like-man, this place is so boring now and all the jobs on this list are to places that don't even cater to anywhere near my age group.

it was surreal.

and then i cauhgt myself blaring an old u-2 song on the radio driving home and singing along and going, fuck, i am getting old.

It's not really that you're too old. It's because malls in general have gotten boring. All the stores and such are just the same thing over and over. Gone are the mall movie houses, game arcades, and interesting stores. In there place are just boring clothes shops and crappy knick-knack places.

they even have a victoria secret aimed at the "college" crowd now called pink. mind you, the stuff is cute but definately not aimed at college girls yaknow?
the one over her eis located right next to a cinnabon which is like across from allt eh kid shops like fuziwigs, kb toys and alladat shit.

the westcor ones are definately gonna end up goin bye bye. i remember when they hiked up the rent on suncoast and fye out here so they could have the spot that fye was in to make a ginormous wrap around victoria secret which was just dumb because alot of people went into fye because they were the only ones allowed to seel cds in the mall when they were around.

Maybe when you were a kid the thought of going to mall was grand, but now to me at least i really only go to the mall for cloths shopping or getting gifts for people.

I Remember several Malls YRS' & YRS' ago,..I use to frequent,..
Some are CLOSED now, some Bulldozed to the ground,
some still running but like queit ghost towns now,..

- Been YRS' since I Hung out at ANY "MALL" so to speak.
In "HOLLYWOOD / L.A, Ca"..theres that "HIGHLAND MALL",
on the corner of HOLLYWOOD BLVD n' HIGHLAND"...
but I barely ever go up into hollywood anymore,..
rarely unless a Reason to bother,...
I do Sometimes hit the more local mall nearest me

That one's useually pretty busy, but Shops there Come n' Go,...
I Usually only use That mall for basic Shopping
an' most of My "BILL" payment places are there too,..
the GAS COMPANY,..
the D.W.P {*Electric),..
the TIME-WARNER (*Phone/Internet),...
.......etc'........

EVERYTIME I go out these days,..the AGE Thing is so OVERTLY apperant, from What My Look n' Style is, from the YOUNGSTERs' "In-Stuff" of Today,..

Its pretty much been the same ol' stuff, with time like a lot of things for soem people its something you grow out of. I'm close to the Mall of America, and despite having a ton of differant stores, its still just a bunch of shops that are the same in variations. I do my shopping on-line.

They just closed what I had dubbed "the little whore store" aka LibbyLu's @ the mall closest to me.

*sigh* the only reason I go to the mall is to dig through the sales racks for sweaters and cheap jeans and really I'd rather go to Marshalls/TJMaxx or Ross, being the bargain hunter that I am.

The mall started to suck after Hot Topic and Spencers started fighting for the preteen moron crowd and everything else is aimed at the really old mall walkers be they scented candle stores or that "Things Remembered" crap shop for momentos. There's nothing aimed at the over 21 demographic anywhere in the mall. It's now just kinda lame. I'd rather go down town or down one of those streets that's just shop after shop for like 2 miles.

i see your point. i dunno. i guess im a little jaded cus i wanna wear the stuff they sell in there alittle. i dont normally buy clothes at the mall, i usually hit up target, k-mart and occassionally wally world for relaxed fit wranglers and tees.

I try to dress pretty bland anyway althuogh i like to wear shiny stuff it just doesnt look right for my build. i think the only shirt i really love that i got form the mall was a misfits teehsirt from ht i bought that has the creeper logo on it in metallic pink. it is so faded now but i love that shirt.

Food, gen' Supplies, Cat liter / Cat & dog food ~ ( *I Have 3 cats & 1 dog ),......
Bath-chachkies'(soap,shampoo,conditioner,razors,etc)..

is ONLY sold at That store I go to currently too,..

...I Rarely buy "Clothes" there,...

or package of black-Crew 9/12 socks,..

I don't wear a lot of "COLORIZED PRINT STYLE T-SHIRTs" stuff,.....
