900+ people viewing the forum right now- are there even 900 people registered? Seriously kids stop being so damn lazy and become a fellow post whore.

Funny, each time I log in the number of people apparently viewing the BlueBlood Boards is between 4500 and 4600 and the BlueBlood Erotica between 550 and 600. And I do mean every time ...

Go to the top of this page and click on the BlueBlood Boards on the left hand side. There you'll see the three forums listed with a figure which claims to be the number of people viewing each forum at the time.Originally Posted by purplepixie
Personally I find it a tad hard to swallow (the 4500 I mean).
And this matters why? I'm sure lots of people stop by this site and have not registered for the boards yet. I think that is normal. Big deal.
It doesn't matter at all, but, hey, we're just chatting amongst ourselves.Originally Posted by Cerberus
I thougt that 4500 was the overall amount of people that had viewed this site......................but then that seems to small................hmmmmmOriginally Posted by Nightingale

I think those are non-trackable guests that have looked at the forum in the last X-amount of time. From looking at the numbers, my guess is that it knows when a member has come back, but may not set cookies or whatever to track every non-member. But, forums like this do get a lot of lurking.
It's kind of interesting to contemplate. I mean, when you have a conversation with your friends at a bar or a party or something, you usually get pissed off if someone is hanging around listening in on you. Imagine a huge crowd of 900 people all huddled around you listening to what you have to say. Hmmm...weird!
But sometimes interesting people join in the converation and that's a good way to meet cool new people.Originally Posted by Forestghost
Agreed, I'm not saying it's necessarily a bad thing. I just find it interesting to imagine these "internet" type experiences in real life!Originally Posted by ForrestBlack

But I agree. I say what I say, do what I do, whatever, according to what I have learnt and believe in, regardless of numbers.
There's a good story relating to the birth of democracy from the cradle of the whole business in Ancient Athens (which I'm probably doing violence to as I can't recall the specifics). A bright guy gives his speech and gets a resounding round of applause from the mob. He just turns round and says 'I must have got that wrong'.
Not entirely sure how that's relevant, but it felt that way (after half a bottle of Calvados...).
mmmclvados....*drewl* Yeah it's amzing I hope to meet people off here, would be cool, anyhow ughh yeah it's amazing how many people are on here....anyhow yeah...*looks around feels stupid and goes on to another thread* heay look uhhh just don't pay attentionas I run in the opposite direction.
At first glance I thought this site was total elitist 'clique' ettiquette.Originally Posted by ForrestBlack

You're not the only one....... I actually get sick if I'm around a lot of people, it's something I got from my dad I think.Originally Posted by Forestghost
