#1. Hire a lawyer and an accountant to help me keep most of it & invest it.
#2. Get out of debt
#3. Secure a decent place to live in.
#4. Start my own biz.

Buy all the sound, video, and other technology I could possible want. I'd set aside 100K. New clothes and other knickknacks too.
100K to my parents and nephew.
New or refurbished car.
Donate/Lifetime memberships in the organizations I like. Say 50K for those, not that into cars.
Get a Personal Assistant. 50K (over 2 years but part time)
100K save to buy into a future house. I really don't to own right now.

I forgot: I'm intending to buy a Custom Motorcycle. They have some killer bikes and shops here. Skim a bit off all those.

Buy a small house with acreage, buy a classic car or three, get some clothes and pay off some of my parents mortgage.

buy land in the country here, and build a cottage... my dream is to own a flower farm.... 400 grand would deffinetly pay for that.

I'd put it all in a high yeild bank account and stocks, so that I could remain poor my whole life while my net worth rose to 7 billion dollars - all of which would go to the state after I died. Cuz really, who needs a ton of fucking money, when you can have even More Money that you can't spend? That's what I call living!

Buy a decent car...preload a bunch of the money on a visa or something similar, and use it for gas...buy a house...maybe. And organize a killer west coast metal tour. Not to mention a trip to explore Sweden!

#1 - Call VSAC and have them send me a total of my student loans. Pay them off.
#2 - Stay up a few extra hours and set an appointment with boi's sister, his mother, and a Real Estate Lady. Buy them the first house they can both love.
#3 - Pay off the nice man that's been holding my things in storage.
#4 - Try to decide weather to build a little house on boi's family's property, or buy and restore Granny's house.
#5 - Go to Minnesota and see my Great Aunt.
#6 - Travel... Paint... Indulge my whims.

Find a good accountant to hide some of from the tax people, have some invested and then go traveling & more traveling.

Give 20 thousand to my mom, 20 thousand to my dad.
This leaves me with 360k. I'd place one hundred thousand in an account to use just for college/rent (not that i'd use a 100k in college but hey. Its there.)
Then because I have very few good friends I'd help them out. I'd pay for my female friend in Tennessee's college/grad school, pay for my bestfriends mechanic school, and pay for my friend Matt's graduate school.
The rest I'd save and use to augment my adventures : ). Probably buy an excellent set of armor for the SCA and a crazy computer set-up.
After all that I'd have atleast 100k left around and would use that to buy a decent car and put a hefty downpayment on a small home.
