Went and listened to a friends band, and they rock. The Twisting Trantulas, have a punk/rockabilly sound and are making a good name for themselves locally. My pal, Pete, plays an upright bass and hes quite the performer.
Chino Moreno (deftones) new band "Team sleep"... awesome album. It's like all the best deftones stuff- slow, dark and sexy. And the show was great, too
nope. still waiting for disturbed's "ten thousand fists" to hit the shelves then ill post it up. lol
There is a local band that is called Killing Kirby "Just a name they said" That is kicking ass....Really good sound and they write their own stuff No covers...
lol, wolf eyes. get 'em, they rock like lumps of granite rolling down a scree slope
My air guitar solo's in the shower have been pretty impressive lately...
Schoolyard Heroes - Fantasic Wounds. <3 Its the shit. <3
Oh yes, I second that choice.Originally Posted by vixta

ive been listening to Banane Metalik alot lately its a crazy psychobilly band from france those who dig stuff like Demented Are Go and Os Catalepticos will love it http://www.bananemetalik.com/news/
I've rediscovered my love of Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen. I've also been singing along with a lot of Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald and Slipknot. The complete recordings of Miles Davis and John Coltrane gives me eargasms. That's mostly about it lately. And today I've been listening to Metallica S&M and singing a lot as well, the mix of the symphony and the band makes me happy in my pants.
I've just been playing the sickness and believe over and over again...singing along with it...it's fucking creepy, I even sound a little like david. lol you should here me do prayer!
I have about the same vocal range he does. I do Darkness from uh...yeah I forget the name of the album, pretty well.Originally Posted by malcolm

nope. I was considering picking up the new foo fighters release, but I haven't heard any feedback on it.
I went to the 'Sounds of the Underground' show yesterday. I got so retarded before the show the first 3 hours are blurry but we had a good time. Lamb of God and GWAR were wicked.

i saw them at a festival about a month ago on one hand i thought chino whoa (i never did get round to seeing deftones but i always wanted to) and hes staning on the barriers next to me on the other i found them a bit boring (must have been because i cant actually remeber any of the songs) and if it was my side band that id been working on for the past ten years id think id make an introduction for the rest of the pretty much unkonwn members of the band rather than walking on play my set throw my guitar down in a mood and storm off the stage and i'm pretty sure that they were late too rant overOriginally Posted by Chaotika
i recently picked up a mindless self indulgence cd simply because i like the look of the band(syle and intensity). had no idea what they would sound like. didnt realize what i was getting into. am still trying to figure the cd out.
I thought this was about new music? yeah there's a lot of music that I am listenging to that's "new" to me, as in I didn't have/ listen to it before, but none of it was made less than three years ago.
Eh turns out I'm going to Ozzfest instead. Don't really have the cash or a ride to it.Originally Posted by Toe Cutter

avenge sevenfold city of evil is fucking awesome.
I recently have been enjoying the band The Chariot. I would give a bunch of reasons why I think their CD is so awesome, but perhaps you could enjoy those reasons more if you discovered them for yourself.
ive started liking lots of bands i never liked before, i think i just started listening to them to piss Jeff off, but now i like them. *avenged sevenfold, the used, killswitch engaged, fall out boy, my chemical romance*
I would agree with this mysterious jeff person however I find someone having a diffirent taste in music a very foolish reason to be upset with someone about. Besides, many of those bands can be stepping stones for you to find better bands within their genre's.Originally Posted by suicidal_tendencies

went to see Paradise Lost on their curren tour a few moths ago... great concert! i've waited a long time to see them
the new album's totally ok, too. don't know why it's so ignored. maybe people expected too much...
Went to the Mushroomhead, MSI, Dope show here in Cleve. last month and there was a band named VentanA that played on the bill, they really rocked... Some pretty good hardcore going on here in Cleve...

ummm... Duran Duran... Rio... and stop staring at me like that...!
Currently loving the new Joy Zipper CD 'the Heartlight Set', a really great summery album for people who don't like summery albums. The Magic Numbers' debut's pretty great too, guess I've been in one of my more cheerful moods lately
only buy cds every quarter, but next quarter is next saturday woo hoo!!!
Disciplin a Kitchme.... It's a 3ppl's band.... big black woman singing.... 17 years old virtuos on drums and bass guru with all his effects.....
it's so dinamic so energetic.... I sstrongly recomend it to anyone who likes cool fusion music... this is something between funk, hard rock and drum'n'bass rithms... so simple and so good....
