I sitting here in a sweater with a cup of soup it's cold & raining out, leaves are blowning around. I could not be more content.

Autumn is the best...I will tell you why.
Rain...rain is my favorite...I live in Oregon, and you would think that oregonians would be used to it...but seriously you should see these idiots drive. Everyone goes like 5 miles an hour but they still bump into eachother and drive off the road. Fun to watch
Trees. there are so many trees here and suddenly when you walk down the street or drive down the road it looks like a constant sun set...it's beautiful, even though its cold out you still feel so warm because of the colors surrounding you.
Clothes...my winter clothes are so much sexier than my summer clothes...I dunno.I just dont think swimming suits are flattering to anyone...give me some leather or velvet ...it just feels better
And then what toecutter is doing today...its so nice to sit at home with a warm drink or soup and watch mother nature at her finest....
cold dark evenings
The weather. It reminds me of Scotland, a cool/cold breeze, the rain I love it all. Just being able to sit back and enjoy it.......Perfect.
my Birthday next month and thanksgiving turkey
Autumn is the best season. it has Halloween - I think it's the best holiday in whole year..
and the leaves are not allsame boring green but posses different colors unique for each type..
The weather gets cooler and all this weary summer het is no longer present.
I'm pleased to hear as the fallen leaves crack under my feet.
I love the clouded sky...
I adore the way graveyard look under autumn rain..
Adore walking in the autumnal forest...
I like gothic music of 'autumn kind'... like the veryproper time to listen to the best band ever - Autumn Tears...
I get extremely inspired in autumn.
and so on.. I can go on the subject forever
All of the above, and then some. Fall is the most beautiful season here in Mich. and there is just nothing like taking that drive up to my property for some fall camping and gun shooting with the family.
Not much beats snuggle weather with the loved ones.
Oh! a thing to add: In the late November when all leaves are already fallen - the sight of bare tree-branches against twillight grey sky is spectacular!
Autumn... it's not just a season. It's a world. World of caressing cold wind, fallen orange leaves and their melancholical scent, of rainfalls which unleash you to the nature.
Autumn is the time when Mother Earth put her children to bed, kissing them with love; and i, the child, feel the love of Mother Earth.
hm.. listening to The Rhythm of tao te Ching and realizing it perfectly suits for the Autumn...
I was captivated with the way Temples in South Korea on Kiryong Mountains looked surrounded by trees in autumnal colors...
thanksgiving and plus this november Malcolm is coming out here. who could ask for more?
The golden quality of the setting sun
The chill in the air
The smell of fireplaces/burning leaves/ burning LA
The calm that settles over every one in the city now that the rush to be tan and scantily clad is over
Baking Season
Autumn leaves dressing the stately trees in their finery
Department stores dressing up for the holidays
Halloween Stores full of stuff I'll leave up all year
Planning secrets for Christmas
Planning Halloween Parties/Costumes (btw~ anyone want to join us in our hoard of zombies this year?)
When I lived in Fla November 1st was the Founders Day parade so I got to look forward to being in that.

Halloween.
The fact that, at least here in Toronto, it's actually a comfortable temperature out.
I can wear scarves and my thick fuzzy arm-warmers again.
The fact that most irritating schoolchildren are back in school and not bothering me when I'm trying to sleep at one in the afternoon.
Edit Addition: NaNoWriMo.
Pumpkins and more pumpkins. Their is just something special about seeing those gigantic orange veggies growing all over, that just makes me glad to be alive. Then I cook'em and eat'em.
that which was so vibrant dies or goes dormant...
the fertile turns barren...
death and it's symbols abound...
life's true meaning is found.
The cool weather. I'm currently residing in a horrible area of the United States where, during the summer, temperature reaches over one hundred at least once. So finally being comfortable in my many layer of clothing. Also, the biting cold reminds of better days, for some reason....October to January is the most romantic time of year.
October reading list!!!!
'Night in the Lonesome October' by Roger Zelazny
'The October Country' by Ray Bradbury
'The Phantom of the Opera' by Gaston Roux (i think)
what's everybody else like to read for October...
be seeing you
It's sounds corny, but I'm reading the Dragonlance Chronicles again. TSR books.
I'm media-dead at the moment and staying so into NaNoWriMo is over. Afterwards I'm picking up the one book by my favorite author that I haven't read yet.
well, everybody's pretty much said it already, but....
leaves changing color and then falling off the trees, i still like to play in leaf piles
the warm days and cool nights
the first snow
the crisp air.. it's perfect running weather
