yeah, it bugs me that we're following a system brought in to help wartime shift workers (in the US) and sheep farmers (in the UK) when the growth of the Internet, the Atkins Diet and the closure of Tower Records means we all have lightbulbs dammit!

Pick a timezone and leave it the hell alone. You get dark mornings some months and dark nights some months, but we're not cycling to a munitions factory in a blackout. (At least not yet, since Bush just signed domestic martial law back onto the statutes)

My husband didn't believe me this morning. I had to pull out a calander to prove it to him. I think he was just upset to be up at 7 if he had another hour to sleep.

the only clock that didn't reset itself is hte battery powered analog clock on the wall over the tv. but as i use my cell phone for an alarm clock didn't have to worry about the sleeping in/getting up too early. thank goodness.

it is stupid. not as stupid as Australia's version of the damned event but still stupid none the less.

Huh, there's some kind of time change going on?

...I only ever figure it out when TV shifts up or down an hour, and I'm still confused for like a week or two.

    lol pmh

I liked when I was in highschool and the clock would shift back so me and my friends could walk to school and it would be really dark/cold. Always have intresting conversations when all your friends read fantasy...and you find yourself walking down a dark misty street in real life.
