If you all find a specific interesting article somewhere, please feel free to link it, but I would prefer not to have overall domains spammed. Don't know the rotten folks and have had positive interactions with the other three folks mentioned so far, but I'd really like people to put a little more effort into being interesting.

Example:

Good post would be have you read Liquor yet, along with your opinion of the book.

Bad post would be just linking her site.

Many sites do not allow external links in their forums at all. Blue Blood does allow them. If you all find a specific interesting article somewhere, please feel free to link it, but I would prefer not to have overall domains spammed. I'd really like people to put a little more effort into being interesting. Let's not spoil it for the whole class.

Plus to be honest after a while people simply ignore posts like that. Posting "Check this out! www.something.com" feels like an ad. Talking about an article and then telling where it is...far more interesting. Since then people are actually compelled to read the article AFTER they red your post...this leads to more interesting discussions.

Uhm, tommygunn666 would actually have preferred to have this thread deleted, but we have the board set so that, after a certain length of time, posts can not be deleted. Policy was explained. It was a totally innocent oopsie. The thread had disappeared from the top listings. It did not need a bump. Please let this thread slide to the bottom.
