I saw the film a couple weeks ago, i'd been waiting since like forever, but the sound on my tv. was shitty and i couldn'd understand shit. I fucking loved the book, the book was so much better....i think......well i need a new tv.

I had read the books a few months before the movie hit...and while I liked the movie it just can't match the book. Still it is quite faithful and entertaining....however the "radio play" like CD of it that came out YEARS ago is probably the best rendition of the story into something with sound. The actors at least for my money brought the characters to life better.

the way i've heard it ,and agree, is that the movie appeals to the crowd who can relate,if you know what i mean, and the book appeals to everybody....

for example: show any clean(never done anything) person that movie and most likely they'll say it sucks,where as give the same person the book and they'll like it.......

I quite like the movie, and did so even before the couple times I smoked pot last summer. That's the extent of my drug use. I'm insane though, so it kinda makes up for it.
