After the crappy time Ive had lately, bouncing from couch to couch, dealing with betrayal and losing faith in love, I just got news today that Im going to meet with two investors tomorrow to get money for restoring classic cars, so Im loving the shopping Im doing tonight, who wouldnt when they have about 15K to shop with!

I took a few pics of the Chevelle Malibu Classic today. We are about a day into it and the engine is coming along nicely, should be finished when I hit up the auto store tomorrow. Im enjoying ripping out the interior, weather stripping and trim. Ill be doing the interior, body work, paint, and vinyl top myself;] Im having a blast and I feel lucky and grateful that Im this close to doing what I love for a living, because after the first few cars, I will have enough to open my shop *grin*.

Im thinking of doing the vinyl top black and body red, with red seats, and everything else black. Is that too weird?

The next few cars Ive been offered are a 1938 Chevy Master 2Dr Sedan that will make a killer Street Rod, a 64 1/2 Mustang, a 62 corvair, and a 56 Bel Air, so Im going to be one busy little punk girl! So everyone wish me luck, it might help this damn foul mood Im in.

sorry to jack your thread a bit jax....but found some pictures of the '36 as of a while ago...(it got the original paint again and it was free !!!(sept for the actual paint)....





i redid the exact same striping....it was actually pretty damn easy,haha....(the story of the car is just too amazing to change it too much,so back it went)

compare that to the picture in my profile,i'm so happy....even thought it's all shiney,and shit,and that i can barely afford to drive it anymore....
