I know this is such a shallow thing to say, but it's the truth. The only reason I could concieve myself being famous & enjoying it is the large amounts of random groupie girl head.

If it was the type of fame I could use for causes that interest me, definitely. I've received enough groupie head for this lifetime. It would have to be fame *for* something that mattered to me also.

Depends on what for... If it was for something I tohught was important, then hell yes. If it was for something I was ashamed of... not at all. I also wouldnt like to be one of those ambiguous celebrities... not my thing. Id enjoy fame at the level of Eugene Hutz or someone of that ilk.

I'd like to be famous like japanese artist Masamune Shirow. His work is heavily influential and way ahead of it's time. Very famous and highly praised...yet no one knows his real name, what he looks like (he only releases charicatures of himself drawn by his own hand), or even much about his personal life outside of the fact he teaches painting. Of course SOMEONE has to know all this but by and large it's kept rather secret and low key...I like that. Famous for your work and keeping ones anonymity.

Yep, i would. If it were for something I did thats shameful, I shouldnt have put myself in that situation in the first place. But you gotta admit, most people only want to remember the shameful acts, and will only make them more famous.

Fame doesn't interest me as much as having the chance to continually do things I find interesting. If it would enable that, great; if not, well, it doesn't really help me lead a better life, so screw it.

Too much hassle, with all the fans bugging you all the time.

I'd prefer not to have the facial recognition.

Being successful, rich, etc, is cool.
But I do not want people bugging me all the time.
Remember, a lot of the people who would be bugging you
for photos and autographs are going to be idiots.
It will get REALLY annoying after a while.

It's better to be famous or successful for behind-the-scenes work.
That way you can tell people what you do, if you want to,
and get attention, or you can not mention it, and stay anonymous...

fame sucks...........fortune kicks ass..........I have neither, ohhhhhh well could be worse. I seem to get more recognition than I care for but then again I live in a small town and odd colored hair and driving hearses/rare uncommon vehicles doesn't seem to help.
