Friends of mine have moved to LA and have gotten more work related responses than ever before. In one week they have been busier than they ever have been.

I guess, if you work in entertainment of any sort, it is better to be in the center of it all.

Having some accomplishments before you get to LA and of course being talented means incredible awesomeness on initial arrival. It is less of a flurry after being here for a while, but it is still a killer place to get things done. I love to travel, but I love having Los Angeles as HQ. My experience anyway.

If you're able to get shit done, LA has a lot to offer. Know a documentary film producer from MN who went out there with material only in need of final editing. He got some amazing responses. He's getting some good distro now. He also loves theater and acting so he's back and forth. It really depends on what you want to do.
