...I'm not sure if you are aware, but there is a troll on Livejournal.com posting up pictures from different sets, and more or less claiming to be the model (one of whom is none other than Nixon, who I recognised immediately).

The reason myself and other lj members think it's a troll is, they've posted pictures in so many damn communities it's ridiculous - same picture for several different category communities.

And they keep saying "courtesy of BlueBlood" as though they have permission to do this. I could be mistaken, but I think they're full of shit.

Wow, some of the people in those communities sure are rude. I'm pretty positive that ain't Nixon posting, but what if it were and they were saying stuff like that?

There is posting code at the bottom of every image in the galleries on BlueBlood.net in case people want to, for example, post a photo of themselves to LiveJournal with a link back to BlueBlood.net. At the bottom of every image, there is automatically code for it to say:

If someone is going to post the pics, it is cool that they leave that linking in, but it doesn't mean it's extra-official or anything either. We do pretty much give permission by having the code though in most instances I guess.

Honestly, so long as someone leaves the links in, I kind of like it when people post pics . . . so long as they don't go totally bananas with it. I've seen people make whole freaking sites of just hotlinked photos from our galleries and I'm just like, have some freaking creativity. I've had to shut down sites more than once where someone was pretending to be someone I shot and selling like phone domination or some BS.

This doesn't seem like that big a deal, but thanks for the heads up.

Hmm, I'm kinda not cool with the avatar thing, unless John Ashton-Keller gave permission on that and kind of it is the person. I'm going to check on that part.

well, very cool photo shoot. I wouldn't have seen it if it wasn't for this thread. I got my bookmark set to the forum top, so I never see the main page and the newswire is pretty much the only way I ever find out about the articles. I should check up on those more often.
