Default What a friend said about Mr. Rogers

Im not sure if that is true, but a friend said that he always tried to keep his chest covered, because he has carved a bunch of kill marks into his chest.

Is there any truth to this?

Oh, when will the horrors of Vietnam on that generation subside? When?

I always loved the guy...probably from the hours spent watching him but more from the fact he was the kind of adult you wish more adults where like when you were a kid...he was always able to inform and make the most basic household things seem interesting.

The real genius of the show was that it accepted a fact many childrens shows do not...that many times the kids watching are usually all alone with little to no attention. As a result if you study the show closely you will see little of the show has to do with groups of people...it's always focused on the individual child doing things by himself be it through the activities presented or the strong focus of using ones imagination.

    Brilliant show.
