My Life's Calling
Free range offline captioner. I spend a lot of my time watching Jerry Springer and trying to figure out what the hell the guests are saying so I can transcribe it. There is only so much naked Jerry Springer guest flesh a girl can stomach.
My Ride
The train. I often hijack them. Or, you know, buy a ticket.
My Ideal Ride
I'd rather be able to walk everywhere, actually. Cars are expensive and unpleasant, public transport is unreliable and full of jerks. Walking is free and good exercise. For long distance travel, I demand the invention of some teleportation device!
Drink of Choice
Water. But if I'm trying to be a bit less boring, then beer or snake bites. I've just recently discovered Pimm's, which is glorious. It's the fun way to get your five a day! I'm also addicted to Pepsi Max.
Yummy to Me
Something involving chicken. I like spicy and Asian. Favourites are probably Indian and Thai. I would kill for good pad thai. Oh, god, how I would kill. Also, chocolate (Toblerones) and ice-cream (mint choc chip). I miss Ice Magic.
Where I Shop
Anywhere that's having a sale! I'm being vain at the moment and taking advantage of being in London to buy cool clothes. Prior to my discovering that I was a girl and should spend money on cleavage-enhancing clothing items, it was music.
On the Town
In London, I like The Old King's Head. It's relaxed, the beer's cheap and I can see a band for under a fiver. But the Guns 'N' Roses pinball machine doesn't work, which is a tragedy for the ages.

Pi, The Exorcist, Rear Window, Citizen Kane (although to my generation, it's pretty much just a long episode of The Simpsons), Shadow of the Vampire, The Proposition. I'm pretty behind on my movies, actually.

Hair Color
That's a good question. At the moment, the back, where it's shaved, is purple. The top of my head and some of the sides are pink. The rest is a weird mix of black, red and bleached-out weirdness. I need to dye my hair. And tighten my messy dreads.

Uh, all of them. They're having a party. Jimmy Carter's passed out on the couch. So, that would be black, red, blue, pink, turquoise, orange, purple - I have been very colour and every possible combination except just all-over black. Too boring.
Toys I Desire
I desire The Sims, which I have, but the laptop we've taken travelling with us can't handle Sims, all the expansion packs plus my thousands of downloads. It is dying, slowly and painfully. I would looove to play a long, interrupted afternoon of Sims.
Depraved Fantasy
I had a dream last night that I went to a brothel with two of my friends and I never got laid! There's something wrong when you can't get laid in a whorehouse. And why the hell did we need to pay for it?! My friends and I can get laid for free!
