Mine was my first trip to Tokyo. 4 days at Tokyo Disneyland and then 10 days at the Park Hyatt Tokyo in Shinjuku.
Of course we had to do the obligatory Harajuku Station on sunday photography thang.

The Grand Canyon blew my mind. WOW! Mexico was fantastic as well. Once spent a summer in Italy but I was 9 and don't remember much. Smoked my very first cigarette in Venice. Thanks dad
Was it recently? Did you get to stand out on that big glass walkway?Originally Posted by mystoo
Noooo, Grand Canyon trip was like...'91-'92? I don't recall a glass walkway.
Supposedly they allow one person at a time to walk out onto the glass platform.Originally Posted by mystoo
Oh ya, that wasn't there. It looks so unatural...maybe cuz it is?!
went to the queen charlotte's a few years back. that was nice
back 2001 went to France, drove it from Normandy to Leon, to southern coast of France. then took train to Rome, just to walk the streets. To see what Trajan built, see it still standing was just testament to humanity.Even the Vatican was breath taking, I remember it as if it was yesterday.
Paris was wonderful place, the people were little unfriendly but not bad. I have been treated worse in New York. Louvre, I spent a few days there just taking it all in. Normandy and St Mount Micheal that was the highlight of the trip. It please me greatly to have gone there and seen those beaches and just took a quite few hours to know my grandfather live throught that came back alive.
France still show respect for those graves and yet the US youth doesn't even know what June 6th is and its hurts my soul to no end. Beyond the need to go there to see those beaches. I want to see the Bayeux Tapestry...
well enough about that I could rant for hours about that trip...
Isn't that the Japanese Slipknot like band? Cool video. Shit Music.Originally Posted by Ed Mironiuk

Naw, it was just two kids hanging out on the bridge that I had to get a picture of.Originally Posted by VoldtaEngler
Maybe they were cosplaying that band.
Man, Halloween in N.O., that must have been crazy. I went to Southern Decadence, so I guess that was sort of like Halloween in N.O. except with drag queens.
Off topic... here's the band I was talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ba4XesTa1vsOriginally Posted by Ed Mironiuk
I'm a little jealous, I would love to go to Tokyo or any European parts for that matter. All my vacations consist of me going back to California for weeks at a time and just hanging out with family and friends. I think for my next vacation, I need to go some place for me.Originally Posted by Ed Mironiuk
Oh yeah, I've seen that before. I agree, it's a great video but I don't care much for the music either.Originally Posted by VoldtaEngler
I also like the Takashi Miike, Audition homage with the twitching bag.
Tokyo is amazing, I've been twice and can't wait to go back.Originally Posted by SyntheticShock
You're lucky you get to go to CA, we try to get out to LA at least once a year but I don't think it's gonna happen this year. It always helped to jump start the creativity...I may have to sell a kidney on the black market to pay for my Cali habit.
LA is my next stop. I've been California dreaming since I can remember. I REALLY want to eat at Barneys Beanery
Yucatan, yep, that was great, old pyramids are neato.
most of my trips are either for history or I go out and kills things. I believe my Next trip will be to Argentine and that is both history and hunting.
