what do you think of the Velvet Revolver?

...I was reading a month-old issue of TIME last night when I saw this article about them (I forgot the title...sorry)... Guns n' Roses and Stone Temple Pilots combined... Scott Weiland collaborated with Axl's Rose former bandmates to do an album... I can't imagine how their music will sound...Any reactions?

ive heard it, and i dont really enjoy it... like STP was alright, and GNR was listenable, but i could barely stand this...i dont really know why

Yeah STP was ok at best...most of their music was forgettable and their live shows ranges from great to "great the lead singer is high again and is sluring his words"...GnR will always be at their greatest with Axl...

This is a nice lil diversion for those who missed out on the glory days of both bands and a small comfort to those who where there....

It's more frustrating than anything...

Yeah, Stome Temple Pilots were alright. Guns & Roses, that was long ago and just average in my opinion and everyone has an opinion. I suppose if there are people who enjoy Velvet Revolver, it's cool with me. My brother likes them a lot and has tried to get me to go to their site, hehe, nah I am all set.

As a long time GnR freak I was glad to hear from the band again. I really enjoy the album but you have to be a die hard fan or just into good ol fashioned rock n roll to get it I think.
