Yea, see, I had the flu for New years 1999. It kind of sucked. Spiked the egg nogg so I could taste the rum and nearly gave my family alcohol poisoning.
There's houses visible, but off at a distance and we do't know exactly how well sound will travel. We're pretty loud.

No shit! for 10 acres with a well and a weird house, pond, etc. It definately needs some work, but everyone else who's come to look at the place just wants to demolish the house and develop the land. The guy who built it doesn't want that.

That's a steal, especially with the greenhouse!!! They're not as cheap as one might think.

blue castles makes me think of Count Chocula. that would be cool if your house was made out of marshmellows.

There's a castle in my city, in the midtown area, like two blocks from the university, in some normal residential neighborhood. I was just driving down the street and I was like holy shit!

I want to find a bum on a quest for the holy grail and lay seige to it.

Actually, my lady and I can't really move out there yet. I have a daughter who is 15 with a very active social life. The castle isn't too too far out of town, just enough to get away from everyting but still be a relatively close drive, but too far for the kid to get around and have her friends drop by. I'd have to drive her to school every day. However, in 5 years she'll be on her own. When your thirty8 and living a life of bold adventure, 5 yars is not a long time(didn't 30 used to be old?). We plan within that time to build our own turret on the other side of the building from the existing one (so we can put in a tin can phone and pulley rope between the two towers). At that point, my daughter may take over the pad where we are now. Kind o' funny. "Hey, your old enough now to take on the responsabilities of adulthood. So we're leaving." Only apropriate to our weird storybook lives that the kid grows up so we leave home. No empty nest syndrome here.

Not quite. In fact not at all, apart from the giant greenhouse. But there are a lot of those around here, especially in the Taos area. It is pasive solar, though. Those are all south-facing windows. The sun here is derious.

I don't think you can mix wind and water. If you could I think it would technically be a suspension.
