The expression "to put lipstick on a pig" means to try to embellish something that is fundamentally worthless. "Putting spinning rims on a Yugo", in effect.
Of course, this hasn't stopped the McSame folks from making it that Barrack Osama was calling Palin a pig, moral outrage, splutter, rhubarb, rhubarb, custard.
The fact that McSame called his WIFE a CUNT in public, well, wait, he owns her, so...

Obama's comment was taken totally out of context, and hyped by the 'liberuhl' media... he was talking about W. mccain's health care policy, and record, and pointing out that W. mccain can call it anything he wants, it's still bullshit.
