Do hard drives count as gadgets? If not, then it was a camcorder about 2 months ago, after the last one fell out of a canoe. It was in a Peli case, but I'm a crap paddler, so it went one way and I went the other. Somewhere, there's probably a beaver making home porn tapes as we speak.

I think the last one was a very light monopod, although upgrading my phone was pretty big for me.

My hands are a little shaky, particularly after six or seven months couch-ridden with the spinal injury, but decent tripods can sometimes be a bit bulky.

I bought a cheap ass demo model scanner. When it comes to gadgets, I'm fuckin' anal and all about getting it on sale.

Like a moron, every time I buy a gadget, I check out to see what's rated the best on "Consumer Reports." In the end, I buy what's rated best and priced economical and I still usually get let down. I swear I think they work on kick-backs.
