I has a sad.
damn...
fun-- ;
sad++ ;
This makes me sadder than it maybe even should
I was just looking at some old pics of a punk rock group house I lived in where we had a Bikini Girls with Machine Guns poster on the wall. Not a pic of Lux, but somehow that just makes it seem even more melancholy-inducing.
I wrote in my journal "Damn you Lux, you made me cry" He really did. I have felt better seeing the overwhelming respect shown. Putting on the tunes was less bittersweet than I thought it would be. Some of the memories are rough though. His death brings them back a bit.Originally Posted by Amelia G

Ideas and thoughts live forever. As long as someone reads Little Red Riding Hood she'll be alive. So as long as someone reads Blue Blood you will be remembered.
I know, I'm not good in comforting words. If it helps I'm feeling nostalgic too lately.
my heart just broke. I just cried a little. that was my favorite band in the whole world. :,(
Before my time, but my girlfriend's got a patch of that guy's band (I think) on her horrorpunk leather.
Yeah ok, so I don't really have anything to add.
meant to see them in 2001 (IIRC) in Atlanta with friends, but smashed car up
Then I missed their UK leg of tour as i couldn't get time off
2 years ago they passed and I got the weekends messed
fuck fuck fuck fuck.
this is just shitty news
'Look on', but yes...agreed.Originally Posted by Amelia G

That sucks I guess. I honestly have no idea who this chick is.

Old school punk is literally dying off the planet. Sad.
Even with the Ramones....Isn't there just one Ramone left alive?
its a guy.Originally Posted by Rockwulf

I'm ok with that. I just know its on step closer now. Lux' death evoked a lot. I'll keep the flames of my own life in my heart until the day I die. I don't expect anyone will even know it all ever happened. I think the best stories are often left untold ... and so they will remain.Originally Posted by Amelia G

Sad! I should dig out my Cramps shirt and wear it in respect.
Nooooooooooo..... why do all the great people keep dying dammit
Dude, did you really just say that?

The Cramps meant so much to me .... Lux was all over my walls growing up.
This really sucks.

I was so sad to hear about this.
Death, why didn't you take Danzig instead?

LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!
Getting back to THE CRAMPS :P
Well... I just wanted to cheer you all up. Just for a moment. I bet the last thing he wanted is for people to cry over his death.
Once you put on the tunes, yeah. Man, his death just set off a crazy string of events over the last few days. I think it evokes as much out of our own lives as an appreciation of how great he was to us. They played NYE '94-95 if I'm remembering correctly. Some one hit wonder chick from the 80s opened. Her guitarist was East Bay Ray

Seriously? You people are gonna try to convince me that this isn't an old lesbian?
