anyway, back on topic, I've been epically failing the last two days when it comes to cooking. sat I ate subway, and sun I went to vietnamese food, which was tasty and healthy, but not home cooked. tonight I'm just gonna keep it simple. I'm doing pan seared chicken with collards. and a little rice.
I just had a chicken and paprika risotto.
I'm amazed VoltaireBlue.
Well... best wishes to both of you (In case it's your period again)
Today, Xavia and I each ate a huge salad. We had just enough money for them. They were quite tasty with lots of fresh vegetables. I had olive oil on mine.
oho! tonight is chicken nachos! mwahahahaha! I love to make nachos.
we're gonna use this new white nacho cheese flavored doritos for the anchor, grilled up chicken breast for the meat lightly seasoned (i dont like using taco seasoning just salt and pepper and some herbs)
then we're gonna toss in some salad mix, red onions and a white pepperjack sauce to top along with sour cream, ranch/blue cheese (kens ofcourse) and shredded cheese blend. it should be smack yo momma good.
I just made the tastiest dinner. Marinated and grilled up some steak (medium rare), homemade beer battered onion rings, and broccoli and cheese casserole with cheddar and monteray jack, and a little bit of parmesan all baked up in (fresh)garlic butter.
Cannoli and eclairs for dessert. And now I want pickles, but I don't have any
I made fish shaped sticks, spicy green beans, and blackbeans with jalepeno's. Mmm.
thanx. we're going to have a big party with our family and friends for our ten year.Originally Posted by OliX
Tonight PXE and I did a bunch of different steamed veggies with pasta alfredo. Now I'm debating the wisdom of ice cream; we went shopping earlier and got doughnuts, but I'm so used to eating my junk food in the evening that the craving is killer!
Last night I had a burger and chips from the local take-a-way shop, then followed it with a bowl of microwave rice.
stuffed big ass taco salad with tons of green lettuce and red cabbage, ground seasoned turkey meat, half a can of green chilis, salsa, lef tover doritos, cheese blend, white cheese sauce, blue cheese and hot sauce galore! the thing is literally the size of the plate and about four inches deep.
gonna finish it off with a pyramid apricot ale too
I had some chicken soup and a packet of theraflu for dinner. blah.
ohnoes are you sick? get better soon.
Delicious medium-rare roast beef. Homemade gravy. Mashies, and green beans.
Making barbecue chicken and cinnamon baked apples currently
Mmmm, I haven't had baked apples in a long time. Sounds good
Tonight I made General Tao's chicken and broccoli stir fry w/rice.
grilled steak wrap witch cajun seasoning, blue cheese, lettuce and mozzerella with green grapes on the vine for a side.
I brought chicken and collards to work with me tonight. I'm still hungry, so I'm gonna make a yummy tomato salad.
last night we went to a chinese buffet........kinda regretting it now......
I'm having stauffers lasagna tonight for dinner at work. its not as good as mine, but for frozen lasagna its damn good. god, I'm fucking starving right now.
Haha, frozen lasagna here too Pretty tasty for no name.
i wanted burger king but made cheese burgers instead. and slapped some turkey breast cold cuts on it too
fake bacon cheese burger (the lettuce and the bun were real. everything else wasn't.)
Hot buffalo wings and cold beer.
I'm thinking about taking the night off work, since I did really well the last two nights. if I do, i'll cook here at home if not, it'll be some kind of lean cuisine frozen crap. ugh, I can't keep eating like this.
looks like I'm gonna be a trooper and go to work. man, I better get to eat some really nice fresh healthy food tomorrow. like a big huge salad with everything in it topped with a super rare tuna fillet and with a lemmon vinaigrette...... I'm pathetic. I'm sitting here fantasizing about the great food I'm going to eat tomorrow on my day off
Meatloafs with feta cheese in it, fresh tomato sauce and pasta.... kefir for drink.
Anyone here digs kefir as much as I do? Anyone heard about that famous village in Russia where there's several people living that are older than 100 years? Aparently it has to do something with kefir but they can't figure out what because that village is famous for their kefir production and they all drink kefir almost instead of all water.
what's kefir? the only kefir I know of is the type of lime leaf used to season many thai dishes.

Generally?
It's very similar to onaka, Japanese "yogurt". Kefir grains is also known as Tibetan Fungi. It's exactly same thing but cultivated on two different places trough time. Caucasus and Tibet.
