I have no shame. (Well, maybe a little.)
Andy Gibb
Hey, he's Gothic; he committed suicide.
I wasnt ashamed of them back then, and Im not ashamed of them now... KISS!!!!!!!!!
Btw, I had some photos I took featured on his website a few years ago. It was awesome that Gene liked my photos! The photos were of some models themed after KISS, as well as a photo of me sticking out my tongue like Gene Simmons.

I dont have those photos anymore, but they may still be in his site somewhere in the archives. If you like, I could try making more stuff and photographing that. I could also take a tongue shot for you if you like

If they are still there, you would have to search through two or three years of archives if his site goes that far, but I can just re-vamp the models and take new photos.
It was cool , I made a bunch of Demon models with Gene's Make up, A Sorceror styled as Ace (Gene put that there, but the pics of Ace were his least favorites for some reason) A guy with a combo of all their make up styles, and a bunch of guys done as Paul and Peter
Gene's favorites were of those made like Him and Paul
The Site should be at: GeneSimmons.Com

His favorite Model I painted in Kiss Make-up would be this Model, although the model I made had a different head converted and painted as Gene Simmons. Mine was better by far.

An awesome quote as a result of my model was: I never thought I would see the day a Giant Demon In Spandex was running at me" (That wasnt Gene's Quote though)
My favorites from Kiss are:
Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Caar, and Ace Frheley
I'm gonna kill you, dyingsunshine...
You know she's twisting my arm dying laughing to get me to come out with the truth...
Who rocked my world back in tha day?
Well, my mom had a jukebox when I was little. She had like every type of music slammed into that thing from Elvis "Trouble" to Napolean XIV "They're coming to take me away" (he did it before Dr. Demento)... Sooo somewhere in bewteen there I found some songs by MeatLoaf... yes. MeatLoaf - Like "Two out of three ain't bad" and all of that. So, I was obsessed with MeatLoaf. *shakes head*
That was my first concert, he rocked out with Cheap Trick. I still have one of those Cheap Trick guitar picks.
Not my taste in music now, but it was fun while it lasted.
:p
Dont ya find it weird that Cheap Trick was both of our first concerts... unrelated to eachother... weird.Originally Posted by DyingSunshine
I saw like one song of Cheap Trick in concert once. My friends and I showed up for the opener Smashed Gladys and it was a general admission club show. We were right by the stage because we got there so early, but these mullets and their screechy girlfriends tried to muscle us back. We were having none of it, even though the guys were HUGE. My friend Victoria had to go to the hospital. The band stopped playing while the paramedics came in and took her out. I kept asking the paramedics to give her something for the pain because she was practically screaming and she was no wuss. One of them told me I probably had better stuff than they did. Sadly I did not. Happily, although we missed the show too, the mullets and their chicks fled when they turned the house lights on to allow the ambulance workers to do their job.
Damn.. That's the wildest Cheap Trick related story I've ever heard!Originally Posted by AmeliaG

Journey
*grumbles*
Another good band is Twisted Sister. There were lots of good bands back then, but the Rock bands were the best, for the most part.
The Monkees and the Beetles were also quite awesome
ahaha.. I had a thing for Journey!Originally Posted by Zoe_Zoebaboe
I was down with Queensryche. "Eyes of a Stranger" was a damn cool song. For a while, I was even into Slaughter! *hides* You know Blas Elias was one hot muthafucka!

That song rocks.

At some point in my life, I've enjoyed listening to every band mentioned in this thread except Slaughter (yes, even I have my limits). I've seen Cheap Trick and Queensryche (twice), and I've actually performed "Separate Ways" at the "Corporate Rock" version of New York's Punk Rock/Heavy Metal Karaoke. Man, that's a kickass song to do with a band.
Meatloaf I can deal with in short doses, preferably not around people who spend a lot of time at Ren Faires and Rocky Horror.
As for Andy Gibb...
Ha ha ha ha. I played that vinyl so much when I was 13, I had to buy it twice. In my defense, my other favorite album at that age was Joan Jett's Bad Reputation.Originally Posted by mybigblackcockdotcom

There's nothing wrong with a little Cheap Trick. A very little. I think we're gonna cover Surrender. That song rules. As for me, I'm not ashamed of any bands I've listened to. Except maybe the fact that my roommate has made it possible for me to stand Britney Spears and Christiana Aguilera in small doses. And he works construction!!! god.......Originally Posted by DyingSunshine
Interestingly, Amelia...when I was going through my vinyl records recently, I discovered that I had 2 copies of "Shadow Dancing" myself. (I of course kept the better copy of the two...) That, and Frida's "Something's Going On", of all things.
That is a really disturbing coincidence.Originally Posted by mybigblackcockdotcom
I'm not ashamed of anything really...lately though, that damn J Kwon "Tipsy" song keeps creepin in my head. too much time at Dancer's I guess.
Since I am re-painting them in the KISS Theme, I could try and take some photos for you after I am done painting the first squad or so
That guy is what...like 17 too? Catchy tune...too catchy.Originally Posted by Vaughn

Actually, I have a few bands that I was afraid to admit that I like up to about two years ago, and then I stopped caring about what other people thought so, yeah, I'll gladly and openly admit that I love John Mellencamp, Alice Cooper (even the really really bad stuff) and Queen (especially during Freddie Mercury's Uberfag era).
Styx :|
I've actually done Styx' "Babe" at the aforementioned Corporate Rock version of Punk Rock/Heavy Metal Karaoke. My lead-in to the song was "I don't think this song is really about bestiality, but if it makes you feel better, you can pretend it is."

My ex called me up one day and he told me he was doing sound for a coprorate party for the Golf Tournament that was in town and Styx was playing. I had to see Mr. Roboto, I just had to. So, he and all of his sound tech friends sneak me and DyingSunshine in. The people there were like all really really really rich white people who caught themselves in shock when we walked in, everyone was staring at us. These two ladies beside us thought I was Betsy Johnson - ahaha we just told her yes.
It was a fun time, I went all crazy like Iggy when that song came on. I lived a childhood dream...
The end.
Van Halen. No doubt.
Hellooooo baby. ^_^;;
Hell Yeah.. Van Halen - Running with the devil...
