Playing around with photoshop + a picture.

I started dicking around with photoshop and my girlfriend was nice enough to pose for a photo for me to experiment on.

I'm going to use it in the cyberpunk game I'm playing as one of the big advertisements the players will see .

If you have any advice on making the picture look neater or have photoshop experience please post some tips.

I agree with your summation but also seriously since this is the only place I know that deals with weird, alt pictures I'd like tips to improve it.

Improve it in what way? If you've got something specific you're going for we could give ya some tips but "better is kind of an abstract concept.

Yeah, it really depends what you are going for.

If you are trying for futuristic, try adding some scan lines on top of the image.

Like static or weird lines of data, layered on top of the image very lightly.

Imagine the text in "The Matrix". Lay something like that on top with very high transparency.

Ooo, neat. The nightvision thing provides a nice contrast to the rest of the pic. Have you tried keeping HER all funky, but returning the rest of the background to it's normal appearence?
