The idea: Just fooling around for a halloween look; something cheesy but fun. The challenge was to use neon green and black (in synthethic dreads, no less) without looking cyber.
What I learned: Lots about braiding and knotting dreads that are already attached to your head together to get them in new shapes. Discovered the usefulness of brushed on mix-with-water makeup for getting stronger colors and tighter shapes than messing about with pencils and eyeshadows. Having a your hair come down your back primarily in the center means you need to decorate the back of your jacket better than before.
