Well, I think I have maxed out on my sun storage from the eternity I have spent in Cali....and too few raindrops here made the choice of being UK bound quite easy. Give me gloomy skies, rain and a cold ocean and I'm a happy girl. ...Toss in a forrest and I will be relocating

I am doing a 1/2 and 1/2 split tween the two at the mo.
I will admit coming home to Cali is nice (not the weather but the rest of it) ....sushi and SF and all my favorite haunts.

Just trying to figure out how I can have both sans 10hr flights.

camden markets in London and it is basically a huuuuuuuge alternative market for all kinds of alternative life styles from goth and cyber to hippie to everything it's great....just watch out for the tens of thousands of tourists and really really really weird people there

I guess I have been missing out....and must discover this camden market. What is it like?

Don't get me started on Camden Market! When I first started going there it was a bunch of stalls around the canal with a few workshops - glass and china - and had a real bohemian atmosphere. You could buy anything there that suited your Karma. Nowadays it has expanded out of all proportion and I doubt that I would recognise the market from my childhood within the tourist trap it has become. I'm sure there are still a few good things to be found, but the last time I went there and fought through the tourists there was a mass of junk and little of the original soul.
