Internet meetings are becoming more and more common, but sometimes your mamma's friend really does know someone nice. How have you met most of the people you've dated?
I'm a traditionalist and have always gone with school or nightclubs.

I'd have to say most of the exes were met either at a concert or bar. So far so good, there's only about 10-15 women that want me dead. *thumbs up*
in bars......and on the street
AOL chat rooms!!! haha... then I haven't met anyone to date in the last 8 years really...well i just started to and I use Adam4Adam and starting to use Grindr(for iphone)
Variety of methods for me.
Random meetings on the street.
Through friends
Through work
Online
The best so far seems to be online, or through a friendship.
It's really better to get to know someone through some detailed
discussions. Otherwise if it's all at bars, clubs, concerts, then
you just get drunk and hook up, and it eventually leads to a
relationship, without any real basis for it to work out.
Dating Pages. I don't particularly recommend those, but I've gone to some of them.
The last few women I dated I met through dating sites, but I don't put much stock in that any more. Time has changed the way we look at social networking so much that people are too afraid of hooking up with someone who'll turn out to be either a stalker or a serial killer to go past the "Friend"ing stage.
Very randomly, actually. Every story is different.
Bars mostly. I've dated very few but one night stand-ed many.
My bf and I worked together for a while but I didn't actually meet him until I saw him at the bar one night. We tried the one night stand thing but he became a repeat offender and we fell in love instead
i've been working at home (costume & prop making) for a few years no, so meeting someone at work hasn't been an option for me for a long time. Women in bars always seem to be there with someone, or else there to relax and just have a goot time, not to find someone.
I've met a couple people online, one in a bar (he was the bouncer, I was the drunk), two at the haunted house I worked at one season, one I worked with (didn't date til well after we stopped being coworkers), one was someone I knew in high school and got back in touch with. Not sure if I'm forgetting anyone, but in any case I suppose none of them are really sensational stories.
