I know it had a long long LONG run across the pond but in the states it had broken runs, the last of which was on Bravo (Pre-sell out days).

It was a great show that introduced me to many artists across the board in just about every genre. They were always informative and interesting shows and to this day still have definative interviews with many artists...now does ANYONE know where to find these shows?

I have a few I taped years ago (yeah VHS days...THAT long ago)...and would love to see a ton I missed again.

Is that the same South Bank Show that ran in the UK back in the seventies or so? All about art and music and everything from the bohemian world? If you mean the UK version the tv companies sometimes make video copies available or, for a small price, copy from the archives.

Yup that one...it actually ran for quite some time...well into the mid 90's. I'll have to find out who produced it and see if I can at least get transcripts...

I can see the presenter right in front of my eyes, but cannot remember his name for the life of me. I think it was BBC, though I'm not sure.
