Would you change your hairstyle for reasons other than your own? Would you change it to get a new job or please a current job? Would you change it to attract a new lover or please a current lover? Would you change it for an event such as a science fiction convention or a family holiday dinner?

i shaved my head for a court trial but in the bible belt you haft to. grew back in 2 years so it didn;t suck to bad. paid off 2.

That's a tough one cause job wise the choice is not always a choice so much as a demand. If you're single and things are not working to attract a mate then a change may be more of a necessity than much else.

When it comes to pleasing a person...that I would draw the line at since it usually leads to more drastic changes. Last thing anyone wants to be is someones lifesize dress up doll.

I just entered school, and I had something of a fight with the moron in charge of discipline (surprise). He griped about my hair being too long, when I had just cut it three days ago, so I shaved my head to piss him off. I also started a rumor I was planning to kick his ass, which might be anoither reason he hasn't told me anything about my weird, irregularly-shaven head.

I had to dye my hair in some "normal" color for my new job. Before that, I had my hair pink with purple streaks. Besides, I had to let it grow evenly since I had very short hair in the back and long bangs in the front. I really hate it, I don't see how my blue-ish hair could affect my performance in a work that consists of answering phone calls from bickering customers who doesn't knows how to use a Motorola V400....

My first major job in London the interviewer suggested that my hair could be shorter (it wasn't all that long, but the job was with Harrods, and they were very conservative back then). I agreed, but didn't do it. Five thousand employees, and I'm going to see this interviewer again? I think not.

I've never changed it for other people yet, thus missed some opportunities to get a decent job. Now that I'm fucked up with very visible tats, changing the hairstyle alone doesn't help much anymore, heh.

Well hell that's half the fun of the shoots you do. You always sport such cool hair...wish I could get away with half the stuff you've done. May look a bit odd on a fella though.
