Season 2 of The Apprentice officially sucks

Okay, last season was all about merit, all about how the candidates performed on each specific task. This season is all about a bunch of women who make me cringe back-stabbing and politicking and Trump is rolling with their bad behavior. Last season, I thought all his decisions were brilliant and correct. This season, no way.

Yeah this season is trying too hard to have drama and tension...it goes against the entire premise of the show and the fun of the first season.

Totally agree! Supposedly they had like a million applicants. If this is what they chose out of that many people, I think they were choosing for soap opera characteristic and love of sponsors. Notice how they had the tennis bonus this time and everyone was totally into it. Not everyone is that ga ga over tennis, but they just incidentally happened to have all tennis fans. I did like Raj's optimistic play for Anna Kournikova though. If a guy loses a bet like that and the dare is to strip, he is not out of the running yet. The entertainment value of that was really overshadowed by the suckage of everything else, especially the evaluation. I should probably take it out of my TiVo queue.

Yeah you can totally tell they ditched the real purpose of the show an went all Real World and Fear Factor...it's just so horrendous in it's shift one could probably make an argument the whole thing is now scripted from A to Z. It lacks the personality, fun, and as odd as it may sound TRUTH of the last season.

On the PLUS side...the O.C. starts up again soon!

Well, these sorts of shows do evolve. For example, if you watch Survivor, everybody knows a ton of strategy, they understand the structure of alliances and team merges and the balance of knocking out strong players vs. weakening your team too early. It's no longer about being a hard to kill badass in the middle of nowhere anymore. Soon, Apprentice will have alliances and all that crap too. I think George is just pissed this season. I can tell he really hates the fact that Trump keeps ignoring him and his good observations.

Maybe ole George will challenge Trump to a deathmatch at the top of Trump Tower during sweeps?

yup this season just isint the sama as the last one i cant realy pinpoint what it is but it might have something to do with what you all said about the challengers or maybe its cus theres no Omarosa to make things a bit more fun. btw does anyone think its weird that i think Carolyn is hot? or maybe im weird?.
