I usually get the flat on one side-straight up on the other type thing. And the one strand of hair that sticks straight up no matter what you do to it.

Back before I cut my hair,I would wake up with a "light socket" doo almost every day. My hair went down to my ass, and when I'd wake up, it would damn near touch the celing. I have actually had to tear some of my hair out because I would get a hair brush stuck (and I mean STUCK) in it. No amount of spray in conditioner, frizz-eze, etc could help me. Now that Ive cut it short, I wake up with Bozo wings, these little patches of hair just over my ears which flip up and out. I am going to start wearing a hat to bed.

I've been wearing my hair a lot more like bed head lately. It's certainly easier to manage. Kiehl's Silk is a great product and I also really like this stuff by KMS. It's a lite natural beeswax. Those help maintain that 'I just got up looking good' effect.

If I don't put my hair in braids, it just becomes this huge rat's nest of tangled cotton candy... Last night it took me about half an hour to comb out this huge knot...

My husband says I have this cute/sexy windblown thing going on in the morning....unless I use some sort of styling product the night before (which is rare)
It's just kinda tousled, and needs a good finger-combing and I'm fine!
