the exorcist scred the shit out of me when i first saw it but that was when i was really young. i thought the original dawn of the dead was really creepy (and a hundred times better than the new one which put me to sleep)
When I was younger "The Night of the Demons" was a scary ass movie...
There is a movie called "They" that is pretty good thriller
"The Children of the Damned" Was always freaky just cuz little kids acting like that are just plain freaky....
it's hard for me to get freaked out after a movie n e more but some resent ones that i saw that prolly aren't out on video yet that made me dig my nails into my buddies skin.... the new exorsist, the grudge... yea that's about it.
The Shining and The Exorcist.
the exorcist (but that obviously goes without saying)
the others...not really scary more just plain creepy
the convent
The Shining its the only film thats ever scared me
Well....
I had a nightmare after seeing House of 1000 Corpses in the theater...I was a little chilled the first time, but not scared..it was 12 hours later waking up in a cold sweat that scared me.
The Silence of the Lambs is always creepy, but not really scary.
Arachnophobia was funny, but I couldn't shower for a month after seeing that one, so I guess I would call it a true scare.
The Shining is pretty scary, but I've worn it out so it doesn't make me jump anymore.
The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre scares me...because you can hear the chainsaw...but then it will stop, and you think you got away, but then it roars up right in front of you....If I was in the woods alone with leatherface in the middle of the night, I would curl up like a baby!
The Shining
The Ring (don't know why but it scared me)
Event Horizon
That's it.
a good one is El Espinazo Del Diablo(The Devils Back Bone) if you dont mind reading subtitles
Saturday night fever
Sunset Boulevard.
OEC
hey i like that movie my mom was a big jhon travolta fanOriginally Posted by HolstenEisenschwein
The movie that scared me the most, even though its technically not a "horror" movie was Fallen with Denzel Washington. I wouldn't let anyone touch me or brush up against me for a week.
And then any of the Child's Plays or any movie where a toy/puppet/doll gets possessed and becomes evil cause I have a phobia of dolls/puppets coming to life. Its pretty bad. I can't even watch the new trailer without having a panic attack. Same thing happens with clowns. SCARY!
Faust...not so much scary as it was heavily atmospheric. Plus puppet sex is always creepy.
Indeed...it's the only time I've been scared to think of a strip club...or made me think twice about a lap dance.Originally Posted by Belladonna

Event Horizon. Ah, yes...
The Ring. It really did scare the shit out of me!
That other movie where the black guy dies... you know, that... horror movie where only the chick and her pet survive..!
the original Hellraiser is great.....dark, spooky and scary.
The Ring scared me too a bit. The House on Haunted Hill, and Resident Evil kinda bugged me out.
I just read an article in the Ottawa Citizen paper....listing the top 10 scary movies...I can't remember the order, or even all the movies..but here is what I recall...
Silence of the Lambs
The Ring
The Exorcist
Halloween
And wow, that's where I went blank...I must be tired! The typical psychology experiment would suggest that I would remember most if not all ten due to the level of processing I used being a horror movie fan and all...anyway...yeah...I'm going to bed now...
