Yes.
dizzam!!!!! your hot!
what gel do you use to keep that up!!??!
Sorry about the late reply. tatdownthere, thanks. TheQuietPlace, I didn't use gel at all. I used elmers glue. Just regular elmers glue and a hair dryer. Since that pic was taken I had my friend give me dread locks.Originally Posted by TheQuietPlace
just like to know how you get the glue out of you'r hair? Loved the mohawk.Originally Posted by mohawked_fiend
Actually hot water and repeated washings with regular shampoo usually did the trick. Sometimes there would still be a huge chunk of glue still stuck in my hair but that never bothered me.Originally Posted by Eternal throes
Hey sweetie pie! Long time no see, did you move or what? Miss seeing ya around. That was a good night;pOriginally Posted by mohawked_fiend
i should try to get my dreads to go into a mohawk
I've always been a fan of Aquanet for putting up other people's hawks. I used to regularly give mohawks at the parties my punk rock group house threw in DC. I pretty much didn't drink, so I could be counted on to do a good straight line. And I owned clippers.
Lol Aquanet is all i can use now. My hawk is so long I have to spray and blowdry, and it takes forever. But once its up, its up!Originally Posted by AmeliaG

I can't get mine beyond 4 inch, because my hair is too thin.
When I was little and had my first hawk, I raised it with egg white foam and hair spray, because I was too poor for a hair dryer, heh.

It's a nice solid base. What sucks are the flakes, makes people think it's scall. I didn't care tho, I was sorta crustpunk anyway ,pOriginally Posted by AmeliaG
I've done the egg whites and Aqua-net before. As long as you don't spend all day in the sun it doesn't smell. Wow...memories...

You never told me you had a mohawk D:
This was a LOOOONG time ago, thankfully there aren't any pics in existance (that I know of) showing my 'hawk or my liberty spikes. (thank the gods above and below!)Originally Posted by postcoital

I have a pic of me where I'm like 15, with mohawk and drinking beer on a market place. I got my nose broken like 10 minutes after it was taken, heh.
Last time we measured, just under a foot;]Originally Posted by AmeliaG

Oh my oh my! I will never forget the first time I saw your intense blue eyes and great hawk. Hi, I'm Genesis... nice to see you around the boards
This thread makes me feel nostalgic.
I had a Johnny Rotten red(that's what we called the colour back then) mohawk when i was 19. My mother disowned me on the spot.
Nice 'hawk, fiend!
